i thoguht
i thogut this was an awsome game but...i wish it could be longer like the orignals they were like 2 to 3 day long{36 hours or more] i wonder why they shortened it up and when you see the little logo thing it says all right to krome i thought universal made and brought up spyro games which makes me wonder if they sold spyro to krome

Re: i thoguht
The old games only last as long as it took to find everything, which could be as short as five hours. Less if you go for the main boss as the measure for having won. In tEN it is how long it takes to find away to beat the enemies and how long to find the quills.

5 Hours? you must have really fast hands, Spyro 1, sure! but Spyro 2 & 3, dream on.
Oh and zizzle, Krome studios made the game, but Universal published it.

Re: i thoguht
Not me, but others can do it in less. I can get through in the required time in the Artisans, Peace Keepers, and Magic Crafters as I memorized the location of everything in those. But after that it gets a little foggy.

Portals have and similar things went out the door with Enter the Dragonfly. And I want a world map, it gives a greater feel of the places you go being part of a greater world, portals are the nemisis of such a feeling.

Yep, Spyro 1 under 5 Hours 100% for sure, but not for beginners.
Oh and What Insomniac tried not to do was to copy any other games and make it like a rip off, so They couldn't copy Super Mario World's idea.

Just for the record, I can clear Spyro 2 from start to finish in 6 hours. It's generally the same for a lot of Playstation era platformers. Still I already felt that the difficulty and rewards throughout tend to make it lean towards a bit of a longer game than A New Beginning, personally.

Re: i thoguht
Well to finish it normally takes 6 hours, but With ANB its a different story, not only does ANB take such a small time to finish though theres no option of getting 100%.
I have a feeling that TEN's Collectables are just going to be mindlessly placed somewhere where it's "hidden", am i right?
Zizzle, Spyro is a dragon, he breathes F-I-R-E, extra breaths are ok, but i rather them in the powerup form

Re: i thoguht
Well to be honest, some are harder to find (while some are easy to find but harder to reach!) so I think that kind of adds to the depth afterwards. Even after clearing the arena fights I only had enough experience for three breath upgrades so far, so we're towed into a tougher game by some description as well - it's not impossible though ![]()

Not in all stories and games. Dragons breathing things besides fire is not new. In fact some of the older stories of dragons seem to have their breath be poisonious.

Re: i thoguht
Yeah, ok, but i find it quite odd him even breathing these breaths by "magic".
What i meant by mindlessly (yea, my volcabulary is all screwed up) is that krome said "Well guys, people complained because ANB was too short and they wanted more" then someone said "well why dont we just put some random items in places throughout the stage so they have to colect them to get 100%)

Re: i thoguht
Do dont have to have a memory card to beat a game, i can beat Ratchet and clank 3 100% without a memory card if i really wanted to...
I think what you are trying to say is, thats it was so short and easy that you didn't even need to take a brake (so therefore save)
