congrats LXShadow! and man, i am actually REALLY glad they explained the difference between "disc" and "disk". that was something that's been confusing me for awhile.

Gosh darnit Breaking Bad, I just replied to your private message and now realised you made this topic literally with my name in it. XD
I don't know what to say but thank you all, it's really cool to get the recognition! Even if it was.... I think six years ago that we found it =P
In case you guys wanted to know the full story, Hacc and I both knew about the menu in the game's code, before I uncovered the menu itself in the demo (prompted by Hacc's discovery of two extra levels in the demo). I found it with the dumbest possible idea that went along the lines of 'lawl what if I make a code that changes the currently selected menu item to one that doesn't exist and see if it crashes'. And, well, it sure as heck didn't crash! Then I tried to load It was awesome being the first to see a ton of beta levels. 
The only problem was that you needed a GameShark code to activate it...
So I explained to Hacc that I didn't think there was a button code (that I could find)...and that's when Hacc was like 'hold that thought' and he pretty quickly hacked it. That's what made the menu accessible to all and worthy of a place on Crash Mania, meanwhile Eurocom sighs in the relief that it didn't happen nine years sooner, before the game was released =P
