Re: Crash Bandicoot

I liked Crash, but I never got quite as into his games as I did with Spyro. I played Spyro first, so the track-like levels in Crash games seemed pretty limiting compared to Spyro's wide open, fully 3D worlds.

Outside the major Crash titles, I absolutely loved Crash Team Racing and Crash Bash, and I still play them sometimes now.

Re: Crash Bandicoot

Crash Team Racing has so much re-playability, Bash though...it's a good game...but those pogo stick levels...ugh lol

Re: Crash Bandicoot

Those pogo stick levels drove me crazy too. I actually liked the pinball levels alright, but my absolute favorites are the polar bear levels! I love the noises they make when you lurch forward. Lol.

Re: Crash Bandicoot

I love the 4-way pong games, but beating every game 3 times can get tiresome, not so much with the polar levels, those are quick, but the 4-way pong and the pogo levels drag... The crate crush levels are crate fun though...

Re: Crash Bandicoot

Never played Crash Bash, but Crash Bandicoot Warped and CTR are still some of my favorite games.

Re: Crash Bandicoot

Do you any of you know that the full version of Crash Bash is on the Year of the Dragon disc...and you can access all of the levels and stuff...

Go to the Crash Bash demo by pressing L1 + R2 + Square, then once at the main menu press:

left, right
left, right, right
left, right, right, right
left, right, right, right, right
left, right, right, right, right, right

There will be no confirmation sound, just make sure you put it in right, then enter Adventure mode...

At the warp room, pause, and you will see a new option called Cheat Menu...

This menu has an option to select any level except for Oxide and Warp Room 5, but everything before that is accessible...

You can also mess with the computer players as well with the menu...

The demo itself is an earlier build of the game, so there will be some visual differences with the game compared to the final, one hilarious example is Komodo Joe and Moe's icon in their boss fight being Bart and Homer Simpson... No joke...

The developer's forgot to remove the cheat from the demo, so you got two games for the price of one...

Anyhoo, thought I share this with anyone looking to try Crash Bash without buying it...even though you technically bought it, cause it's on the disc, so don't sue us Eurocom lol

Re: Crash Bandicoot

Not sure if it is the same LXShadow, but it's most likely possible...unless it's an imposter...

Re: Crash Bandicoot

The orange dude's awesome. Too bad. There won't probably be a new game based on old gameplay.

Re: Crash Bandicoot

I thought they might make a Skylander based on Crash Bandicoot, but that obviously never happened. Like Spyro, I think the series has been dead for so long that there's probably not much chance of a revival right now.

Re: Crash Bandicoot

I wish Crash was in Skylanders, he could hae his Spin, Aku Aku, and other abbilities. Sadly he probably won't be get a revival like Stormy said. Least we got the games.

Re: Crash Bandicoot

So a Crash Bandicoot thread? Well like I said when I introduced myself, I'm more well known in the Crash Bandicoot community.

What do you guys think should be in a new Crash game? What do you guys think of any of the canceled titles? Do you guys think Crash will ever return?
