i really want to like AHT, but i just can't bring myself to. every time i've played it in recent memory, i'm always like, "alright! let's play some AHT! this game sounds fun on paper, i must have missed something before!" and then i realize that no, i really didn't. it really is as bad as i remember it being.

Well you're probably well above the target age range now. I enjoyed it 8 years ago, but probably wouldnt find it fun now. The voices and humor were just...off as well, to put it lightly.

i could, eh... tolerate... the dialogue. except for Moneybags at those teleporter things.

the problem's the gameplay. playing as Spyro just doesn't quite "work" like in the older games. also, some areas/enemies are unreasonably difficult for a game like this, and i once made a whole thread ranting about the minigames.

I throughly enjoyed it myself. It wasn't anything fancy. But hey it is what it is. If only they just expanded upon the game mechanics from the originals. And added in some new stuff could have been good!
