Ratchet and Clank 1 (PS2)

Its kinda nice to breeze around. I used to think 2nd and 3rd was better, due to upgrading weapons. But when it comes to it all. Its just nice to just walk around, do stuff and not think of all that upgrading stuff and just have fun :3

I guess i am too old for these games in general, but i never get old for Spyro ^^
But i kinda like the first R&C. Just kinda works ^^

I don't think I could ever be too old for Ratchet and CLank. Those games are tons of fun

Re: Ratchet and Clank 1 (PS2)

And then .. PS3 Ratchet and Clank came... i bought one game. And it was.....Urrrg. Norwegian dubbed....(Garb)
So i basically had to switch system language in order to play it in English. But the PS3 somehow manages to make it Swzoooi in terms of gameplay feel, it doesn't feel much mechanical and naturalistic in compared to PS2 where it seems more built up on that on flesh and blood. Not too try and rant and all that stuff tongue

I didn't care for Tools of Destruction's gameplay either. It didn't feel very natural. A Crack in Time though was probably my favorite in the series.

Re: Ratchet and Clank 1 (PS2)

This is the part where I spoil everything and say that the title is incorrect unless they were running it in an emulator then its still incorrect XD
(I mean the 720p part, they can only render up to 420p and on 2 titles 1080i)

-Intel I7 4770k 4.5Ghz / Phanteks U-Type Black    -Vengeance (Hynix) 16Gb 1600Mhz   -Kingston SSDNow M.2 / 2TB Seagate Constellation
-Asus Intel Z97-P    -Zalman z11 Plus Case    -Windows 10 Insider Edition    -XFX R9 280X 3GB

But the recording itself can be extended to 1920x1080.

Re: Ratchet and Clank 1 (PS2)

Ratchet and Clank 1 has a certain charm to it that I like as well. The lack of strafing and upgradable weapons kind of kill its replayability for me though.

Tools of Destruction did feel kind of floaty and not organic(?) I guess. Insomniac was just learning the PS3 suppose. I agree with Lambda though, A Crack in Time is probably my favorite game.

A Crack in Time was the first PS3 Ratchet and Clank i bought.

Heard the dubbed voices. "Threw it away".

But then replayed it when i found out how you can switch to English voices. Because these are the typical games where you can't change voices into game settings inside the game. So you basically have to trick the game by switching the language of your console, in order for the voices in the game to change.

But the game itself wasn't that good. I basically tried to play it for awhile but it was just too weird changes to it.

But then again, i think its better to try something new than using old ideas anyways. Kinda like remakes and same gamestyle does in terms of that.

But then I still call it false because its only stretching it XD
