He doesn't have a clue who you are. He sees you as a piece of background, not as a person. When you approach him, he'll play defensive, letting you make the conversation. He won't be trying to be mysterious, he just doesn't want you to be there, and he's hoping you'll take the hint. Afterwards, he'll laugh nervously about it to his friends, and he'll avoid you if he can for the next few years.

Or it'll all go well.

That's how most people end up getting with people they're attracted to. Unless they have pretty hard jewels.

So my friend had a friend who was engaged to some Turkish bloke. My friend is one of the few people who knew, and if she told the parents, it'd be obvious it was her, and that would have ruined the friendship. My friend (henceforth known as Bubbles) wanted the engagement cancelled on the basis that her friend (now known as Headphones) was constantly making mistakes. Bubbles wanted to stay friends, that took priority, but was still broken up over the issue. I happened to enquire why she was so down, and she told me the story and asked for help.

We didn't go through with it, but my plan was awesome. We were going to get Headphones into a party with lots of booze. I'd then step in and play the obnoxious flirter. I'd steer her towards a drinking game, until she's ready to pass out. Then the two choices were that I seduce her and be so awesome she forgets about her fiancé, or the substantially more likely option, Bubbles takes her home, informs the parents of the engagement, but gets them into the story that Headphones told them in a drunken stupor.

It had it all, betrayl, deceit, acting, and drinking games. I must enquire about that friend next time I see Bubbles.

It's just that she's developed a fanon personality so quickly based on so little. And that she actually turns up so often. Also, as of season 2, she is now a scripted character.
