Re: I need some ideas for apps
I dunno, it could... well, um....
How about, if you point your camera at something, it generates an image of what a cupcake made out of that object would look like. ![]()

And then, once you've made the cupcake, it would give you a rating on how well you cooked it!

Re: I need some ideas for apps
Do it. Make this happen and I will buy an iPhone just to use it.
What would a cupcake app do exactly? I like the sound of it, and it makes me curious not to mention hungry

If you make that app, I will forever recognize you as one of my favorite app developers!

You're kidding, right? The whole thing was a joke and it took me about five seconds to come up with each of those posts.
How is it "creepy"?

Re: I need some ideas for apps
How about a posable character app? Allow the user to move the arms, legs, face, etc. Sell the app itself with a few pre-loaded non-copyright-infringing characters, and then some copyrighted characters could be downloaded separately. It would be safe under fair-use, much like how Lucario and Master Chief are in Garry's-Mod.

I'm really happy for you, but Jazz Jackrabbit is one of the best platformers of all time.

Re: I need some ideas for apps
You could make an application where a person types something in, presses a
button on the screen, and there's a computer voice that says whatever text
was typed. You know ... like Google Translate. You can type sometihng in
and it can say it "vocally." You can also [probably] add different voice
sounds, especially a really deep voice.
Create a Pong game. The original one, not any of those new ones with the
gay missiles, shields, bullets, etc. Just have a plain original Pong game. I'm
not sure if that goes against any copyright since it's so old.

Re: I need some ideas for apps
When I said 'the possibilities are endless', i was referring to the fandom which I now know you arent really into.
That's ok, though.
But a muffin generator would be pretty entertaining.

Re: I need some ideas for apps
Good news, bad news...
Bad news is... Spyrorocks has a VERY weird website design. I do not think I'll be able to do anything more than just save the page as a webapp, which would be very stupid for me to do. So SpyroForum app is out.
Good news, I just made a small Pokémon-esque fighting game! You can choose from Pikachu, Black Mage (Final Fantasy), Chrono (Chrono Trigger), Ike (Fire Emblem), Chris Belmont (Castlevania), and Leeroy Jenkins (Lolcraft).
I can't put it on the store (obviously it's not that good, and it is copyrighted), especially since it took barely a day to make. However, if anyone has their own developer account I can send the source code to them if they want to try it themselves. I can also post a video if anyone wants.
