Re: Halo: Reach
Pretty much after you buy the game, you have to buy even more crap just
to play it. Bull crap.

That's one thing I hate about add-ons not being free. If you don't have the game for a particular add-on then you can't use it. I know it's just another way of sqeezing money out of the customer... but seriously.
Bungie is doing a good job not revealing too much of the sandbox campaign. Everything else they show off but little of that.
I don't care how it looks but how it functions

Re: Halo: Reach
The Halo series is one of the best first person shooter games I've ever played (my opinion)
it's just right below Modern Warfare 2 ![]()
I think it's a great thing that there making more Halo's I'm just not going to
buy the game right off the bat though
I mean I wanna wait till I get some reall reviews on it from others I can actually talk with besides my
big brother (who is a all out Halo geek =-P).

Re: Halo: Reach
I got it on its midnight release. Here's my thoughts on it [major spoilers]:
- [Firefight] The Firefight mode is wonderful and very customizable. You
can change what enemies you face, how hard or easy they are to kill, and
how many waves and rounds you want. There's even a bonus tound where
you get a massive, infinite amount of the set enemies until the time runs out.
- [Forge] Forge sucks on any map other than Forge World. The maps
[other than FW] don't have much objects to mess with. But Forge World ...
not only is the map impressively massive, but there are hundreds of
objects to play around with. You can place "Out Of Bounds" boundaries,
merge objects through the ground and through other objects without using
glitches, change the team colors of buildings and other structure objects,
change the team color of the mongoose, make any object [structure
pieces, vehicles, and even weapons] a Hill Marker for gametypes such as
King Of The Hill and Territories, etc. Another thing I like is that you can
now place landmines on the map instead of the player throwing them
down themself.
The Oracle [Editor] controls are better now. They allow more accurate and
advanced editing than Halo 3. You can now edit the rotation of an object
and its position on the map. One thing I am grateful of is the "Delete All Of
These" option to delete all of a certain object on the map; it comes in great
use when clearing the entire map of its objects.
- [Custom Games] The name is exaggerated now. But that's a good thing.
Custom Games has a lot more customizable features to it now than ever
before. You can now edit Loadouts, which is similar to Battlefield games
where the player selects his weapon kit before spawning; you can also
rename the loadout to one of the many Bungie-created names.
A new gametype is here called Race. In Race, you spawn already in the
driver seat of a vehicle, which can be set to a Warthog, Banshee,
Mongoose, or Ghost. The player's objective is to drive through Checkpoints
and reach the last checkpoint in first place.
- [Campaign] I personally loved the campaign. The Noble team, a team of
six Spartans, goes on a deadly journey in a fatal attempt to save their
planet called Reach. On the way, they are told to retrieve an AI named
Cortana, and bring her to the Pilar Of Autumn before Reach is destroyed.

There's a lot more I can blab about, but I will save you the annoyance.
Plus, I'm tired of typing.
Oh, and Sapphire Sheep, your Xbox Live friends are hilarious.

Re: Halo: Reach
I find the game to be alright. Better than an of the other halo games. Ending sucked though.
