All im going to say is the story line INTENTLY turns me off.

And the game play thing with "sparks" seems not very thought out hmm i mean what will sparks do?

Also carrington If you wish to shear this "new game" with us at least give us more facts on gameplay i mean will it be a sand box game?

Liner?

will spyro use his old "carge and flame" moves or will it plat like Tlos?

well honestly ive never played the original spyro before except for a heros tail. so yeah i just think a new game should have graphics like TLOS

Are we still heading to the TLOS universe on the next game or a totall reboot because all this news of aura sending emails to staff really gets my worried here.

We can't just keep doing reboots.

EXACTLY. Twilight Falls and the Valley Of Avalar were the most beautiful things i've ever seen, in real life or a video game. except i want the free flight to be more... free.

maybe the next game could be like a Grand Theft Auto kind of thing, where you can either follow the storyline or just fly around and do whatever.

there looked amazing but i have seen better, but I realy agree with you XD if they could make more arias like that and full free flight i'll actually consider getting it from the bargin bin tongue

In a new Spyro game, I really don't want free flight that much, in DOTD it felt like they were using it to keep the fans intrested.

What I want is a truly epic game! More characters, possibly characters taken from the classics and revamping them so they fit with the style, I can see Moneybags, Nestor(With a larger role), Agent 9 (Get rid of the blaster and replace it with a electric sword or something), the Professor, Elora, another version of the Soceress or another version of Red or Ripto

Have an awesome music score that once you get to an area and a music track is unlocked you can open up a place in the pause menu or 'Extras' section and listen to said music.

I like the Grand Theft Auto thingy, been able to do whatever you want or progress with the story, it's a good idea.
That's it, really.

- Massive map[s]
- a lot of space to fly/explore
- storyline is optional, but would be nice
- Multiplayer is not needed

The composer should be the same guy who did the music from Metal Gear Solid. The MGS theme is epic and you can tell it is a game about some stealthy super-soldier without ever playing the game. TLOS theme is epic, but you can't tell that it's Spyro at first.

i like everyones idea of the new game but we r leaving sparx out shouldnt he be aplayable character ? and i know peeps say no,but a 3 player co-op would be nice . we need ideas for sparx and who would be his voice, what his power would be? think people!

Why not 4-player co-op? There are four elders, so if they are the stars of the next game, 4-players would be awesome.

Here's something that just popped up in my head: A single player
storyline with just playing as Spyro [or possibly Cynder], then a separate
storyline for multiplayer with the players controlling either the four
guardians or Spyro, Cynder, Sparx, and maybe Hunter.

Or another multiplayer idea: There are four dragons the age of Spyro that
take on separately Spyro's four elements [fire, ice, electricity, earth].
They would be like a group of young "guardians" without the guardian role.

This is my idea. Scrap everything after Spyro Year of the Dragon. Make it the classic gameplay it used to be and bring back the old classic characters. Maybe even some new levels or homeworlds. Make it the Spyro it used to be. Thats how I'd like it.
