Glitch?
when playing the part where you help hunter destroy the waddaya call them?
anyway it is after you help the alchemist get hunters feet free.
eathshapers!!
anyway when i headbash them,i jump glide over them and then headbash
but for some reason when i get to hover over right before headbashing spyro seems to be falling and i cant get him to move
well this lets the earthshaper get up and i have to restart the game!
is this a glitch or is it just how i am playing?

Try jumping over them instead of gliding.

I Tried to glide; nothing happens, but you got to be careful while gliding, then headbashing.

Double tap the /\ button when gliding to headbash. The first tap causes you to hover and the second tap lets you headbash.
