"We're only about two hours away from the forest." Was all Lu said after that, while she concentrated on walking as if nothing were bothering her.

True to her word, within the next two hours they reached the forest. Once they were under the canopy Lu felt infinitely better and her mood brightened.

"I'll have a sniff around, while I'm doing that you should hunt; there's plenty of rabbits around here."

With a grin Lu then leapt into the branches of the trees and disappeared.

(Gotta love elections... What a farce... Oh well, I was able to vote and the Conservatives won in my constituency, that's who I voted for, so eh...

EDIT: Craaaaaap... it's a hung parliament. Great, we totally don't need old baggy Brown to continue as PM.)

((Brown speaks through his *bleep*. Get rid of him. I'm not old enough to vote, but I'd most likely have voted for the Lib Dems, Tories being the second choice. I'm really surprised that they got so few votes... they were on a roll a few weeks ago. And I still think that the voting age should be 16 instead of 18. Ah well. Britain eh?))

Ophelia POV

"Oh, OK, but--" Too late. Lu had disappeared in the trees. Ophelia just stood there, not really knowing what to do with herself. She desperately wanted to eat, but she just felt so weak she could barely stand up. The long walk had drained most of her strength, and what's more her movement was limited because of the painful cut on her ankle.

She didn't want a tiny little rabbit, she wanted a huge fully-grown buck. She could've brought one of those down had she being in a better state. But she decided that it was easier and safer to just go for a rabbit. Maybe even a hare... The last thing that she needed was to be overpowered by a buck and impaled on his antlers...

After spending a moment leaning against a tree to try and regain her strength, Ophelia staggered off into the forest looking for an easy meal. She'd have to take extra care in the ambush; she couldn't afford to lose breakfast, she felt ready to pass out. Hopefully she still had the agility. She'd always loved hunting, and was tameless when it came to catching food. However she hadn't had to hunt for a long time, so she hoped that she wasn't faulty...

Busa POV

The sound of chirping birds and rustling leaves reached Busa's ears. He slowly opened his eyes and sat up. The morning light greeted him as it's rays travelled through the gaps in the canopy. He yawned and rubbed the dust out of his eyes.

He glanced over at Silver, who looked like he was still sleeping. Busa's belly rumbled. It was then that he realised that he hadn't eaten since the morning before. And he hadn't seen Silver eat anything, so guessed that he was hungry too.

Busa staggered to his feet and stretched. "I'm going to catch some breakfast." He said to Silver, although he wasn't sure if he was awake or not. "I'll be back soon." He grabbed his staff and his pouch and wandered off into the forest. Just a small breakfast, he figured. They shouldn't waste any time so that they could continue looking for Ophelia and Lu. Rabbits perhaps...

(Yeah, I seriously thought about voting Lib Dem because I liked the one who would have been representing my constituency had she won, but I thought of the bigger picture and voted Tories instead. Nick Clegg is certainly 'for the people' but I don't think he would be a strong enough leader to be honest.)

Lu was in the trees. She had thought it almost stupidly lucky that as soon as she was in the canopy, and therefore in the wind, she had picked up Busa and Silver's scents. Finding that they were actually only about a mile away, Lu deceided to 'set them up' as it were.
She was watching Busa right now, from the safety of the highest branches. At the moment he was heading in the opposite direction to Ophelia, so she deceided to give him a nudge in the right direction...

She landed silently in the undergrowth a few metres away and then preceeded to rustle the bushes around her about as much as a rabbit would, trying to get his attention.

Lu heard the noise and melted into the shadows. After she had moved a little ways away she stood and listened; there was that noise again!
Hurrying along, she ran in the direction she thought it was coming from.

"...I hunger....tell me when we feast...." a very ere voice said. It was enough to send shivers down one's spine.

"Oh shut up Famine. Some of us have to feed constantly..." another familar voice said.

Lu took it that Death, War, Famine and Pestilence must be names of actual people... But if that were true then why was Nithran with them, or better yet was he one of them? Lu looked around to see if she could see where they were, but she couldn't, so she settled for staying perched on the large branch she was on.

"What the fu-" Lu clamped a hand over her mouth to stop her exclaimation short. She was getting seriously weirded out now; something killed Nithran? His death was the result of Dayn's actions, true, but it was ultimately an accident... wasn't it? She saw it with her own eyes.

The confusion only deepened. Who was the Creator? Was it something to do with the weirdness she experienced when she saw Nithran in front of that door?
