"Ophelia's a very good friend of mine, but I don't know where she is now... But we'll find her soon enough." Silver told, hoping to give Busa a bit more hope. "We met a very long time ago, in a forest somewhere, where we hunted, travelled and played games together. One day, we decided leave each other for a while, willing to see each other again soon. It didn't work out. I'm still searching for her, just like you, I guess. I bet she misses you, if she knows you are still alive..." He felt the sadness running through him. He missed a good friend for a very long time. Finally, he asked: "You're missing her as well, and you want her to come back, right?"

It took Busa some time to take in what Silver had said. I don't understand... Ophelia was shy; she hardly ever left the village... His heart pounded as he thought of one vital question. Silver's answer would determine something that Busa had wanted to find out for years. He grabbed Silver by the wrist firmly and looked in his eyes. "Tell me... roughly how old was Ophelia when you met her? Think carefully." He said, butterflies attacking his stomach.

Silver put a lot of thought in it. After all, this was her father. "Let me see... I was like 21 years old when I saw her for the last time, meaning that she was like... probarbly like 18 or 19, maybe even the same age. That means we met like 6 or 7 years before that." Silver told honestly. He never asked Ophelia for her age, but according to her image, he guessed that she must have been of the same age or just a bit younger.

Busa simply stared in awe at Silver for some time. His grip on his wrist tightened. "But she... She was just a child when we were separated. She was 7..." His eyes widened, his heart fluttered and a huge smile appeared on his face. "Silver... Do you know what this means?! She survived the raid. She's alive." Busa's head tipped backwards and he started laughing loudly. "She's alive! My daughter is alive!" After so many years of searching, he'd finally found the truth. "Oh Silver, I can't thank you enough. You looked after her, didn't you? Now, will you help me find her? Please?" He gasped, still laughing.

((Well, I guess Ophelia has to come in now. tongue Is that OK Rurik? It won't be until later though.))

(I doubt it would be a problem long as it keeps the story going and usually Rurik agrees with me! XD I've yet to run the idea by him (he's not online yet) but we'll probably do what's happening to Lu as a little side story which we'll type in either itallic or bold, because it doesn't affect the main storyline. Anything that does we'll type normally, because we intend to have her let her darker side take over a bit, at least at first. big_smile And we need to get A Guy's charactesr into the mix somehow...

(Maybe Busa and Silver could have one epic search, for both Ophelia and Lu? Here's my idea of how we could connect them all up, feel free to agree or disagree with it as well as add your own spins. It's just so we all know the basic direction of this thing! XD

- For some reason I haven't thought of yet, Ophelia could have been taken prisoner by Dayn a long while ago. Dayn strikes me as a fellow that won't really welcome Serm and the others, so they may bump into her because they are arrested for 'aggressive behaviour towards Lord Dayn' when they go to ask him for a solution to their poison problem.
- Lu's gonna learn about what's she's become. I intend for her to be a 'vampire with a conscience'; she'll only attack people who aren't children and she doesn't know. She has a score to settle with Dayn so she can attack his castle or whatever first and bump into Ophelia and Serm and co. During the vampire attack that bunch are set free and escape.
- Ophelia and the group could then meet up with Busa and Silver and let them know about Lu, so they may decide to go look for her, thinking she's not completely a monster so maybe they can help her?
- Dayn is pieved that his ranks were hit by the Blood Dragons, so decides to try and do something about them and goes to look for 'the Nest'.
- What a coincidence! They all meet up at the same time and we have a lovely old fight at the end.

Sound good? As I said, it doesn't have to be exactly like that, but it does give a basic storyline so we're not all waiting on each other to post.)

((@ PF: Yeah, I like that. And then when all that's done, Rurik can bring in his mid-story thing. I won't bring Ophelia in yet though, I'll wait for the right time. Plus Aceedwin has to agree as well. Yeah, I like this RP a lot. The story's great so far. big_smile Anyway, moving on a bit...))

Busa, still chuckling slightly, abruptly stopped when Silver spoke to him. "She didn't leave me." He explained. "We were separated in a raid upon our village, about 20 years ago. She was just a child... I couldn't fight them off, those horrid, morbid creatures..." A soft vengeful growl emanated from his throat. "I don't understand... They killed practically everyone in the village... but not me. They banished me. Why is that?" He grunted and grabbed his staff and got to his feet. "But I'll explain more later. Let's start our search shall we? For Ophelia and Lu."

Dayn strode through his courtyard, and his escort for today neatly fell into file behind him. He tried swerving a little, out of curiosity, and they kept with him, albeit with slightly confused faces. He was off to a pub, which was certainly unlike him. But that was the point, because what Dayn needed to haul in the band of warmongerers was someone who did not think like him.

Later on, Dayn stepped through a threshold, into the rather smoky bar. He looked around at the suprised faces, and at the considerably more numerous calculating ones. Specifically, he felt, calculating how much money he had. Dayn coughed for attention, generally feeling more humble than usual.
'Good afternoon, gentlemen. I'm looking for someone with skills in tracking fugitives.' a soft, and yet oddly threatening murmur rose up, and then cut off as someone put their hand up, and then yanked another hand up with them.
A pair of twins circled round on their bar stools, and nodded amiably.
'Presumably, there'd be a little incentive, for our services.'
'Indeed there will.'

(Right, so here's Lu's little bit that me and Rurik are gonna do, it'll be in itallic, which basically means that none of the other characters in the RP know it's going on. If they can or will notice, we'll put it in normal type.
While this is happening don't hesitate to carry the main story on guys. We've basically all agreed that A Guy's character's need to be found by Dayn's guards, who take them to him as they request to see him, but he puts them in jail or something and they meet with Ophelia (I don't mind being a guard if noone else will, though it may be better if it's X, then he gets to RP someone other than Silver so he's not left out during the side-storylines). Have the guard be a straggler who find A Guy's group, who are forest-hiking atm. Not sure what Silver and Busa are gonna do in that time, you two can wing it I guess!)

After a few seconds, the absolute darkness faded. It was still very dark, but Lu realised that she could still see. She doubted she would have been able to... before, but she could now. On top of that the darkness seemed kind of envigorating. She felt stronger, that strange buring feeling had gone.

Straightening up, Lu looked around. She seemed to be in some kind of tunnel, made out of dirt apparently. She also realised that she had the strangest sensation that there were a lot of other creatures underground with her. It was like an exaggerated version of knowing you are being watched...

At the sound of Nino's voice Lu hissed and jumped straight upwards, in a manner similar to a startled cat. After a second or so Lu recovered herself, she had just forgotten that Nino was there is all. With a jolt she realised she was upside down, holding onto the ceiling of the tunnel like some sort of retarded bat. Oddly, this felt kind of natural to her. She slowly crawled down the wall until she was standing on the floor again. She marvelled at the fact that it didn't feel much different to her walking on the ceiling than it did when she was walking on the floor as other creatures did. It was almost as if gravity didn't apply to her anymore.

"Sorry, you startled me." She said as she started to follow Nino. "How many are there? Of us I mean."

Lu hesitated a second before following. It led to another tunnel and was a good 20ft drop, but it felt like nothing to her. She jogged to walk alongside Nino.

"I am? Is he like the Leader of the Blood Dragons or something?"
