"She's one of us now." The voice continued, getting closer. "I doubt you want to be near her when it is complete. So let me take her off of your claws."

"What'd I do?" She asked as she looked around, confused. She realised that the rain hadn't stopped and it was still the same dull day it had been. But why did it feel like it was uncomfortably sunny to her? The she noticed how far away she had leapt. She looked at Silver.

"What is going on?" She couldn't see her own eyes; but they were now completely solid red without her usual green irises, it were as if her eyes had bled too, though they actually hadn't. She heard the voice. "Wait, take who?"

She was confused...

"Never." Silver understood, and actuallie believed the voice, which he would normally never do. "I'll never let her be with you. If you want her, fight for her." he said, standing in a defensive position, to protect Lu from whatever would come.

A tip of something sharp pressed against Silver's neck. "Very well." The voice said as she revealed herself to be a wolf matching the color of the rain. Except she had black bat-like wings. Her clothing matched Krucifi's.

As Silver stood in front of her, that's when that strange scent from before hit her again. She didn't know what it was or where it was coming from, but she wanted it. She made no noise, but her lip curled, exposing her canines which had grown exponentially. She stared at the back of Silver's head... Where was that scent coming from?

As the figure appeared in front of Silver, something in her got possessive and she growled in her throat. Why she was possessive all of a sudden, she had no idea and her eyes widened in shock at what she had just done. She realised she was in a crouch and her lip was still curled, but she couldn't relax for some reason.

Hmm... she didn't throw temper tantrums often...

Busa had tried to control himself for some time. He had leaned against a tree and breathed deeply, desperate to calm down. But he would not give up. Ever. Those beasts would pay for what they did...

Glancing over to the cave, his eyes widened as he saw a blood-red wolf with black wings. Trying not to be sick in shock, he limped over to her and stopped as soon as he saw her face. "You." He growled.

((Can we assume that they've met before somewhere?))

It hit her then. How she had been so thick as to not catch on immediately she couldn't believe... She was dead, pretty much just an animated corpse which was infected with some form of virus or something which caused her to want nothing more than blood.
Blood...
That was what she had smelt before, Silver's blood. Instead of looking at the back of his head she instead looked at his neck. She could swear that she could see his carotid artery pulsing with blood. She thought about it a little more. Her canines were longer now, just the right size to penetrate to where the centre of the artery was. Not right through it, oh no, that would be a waste...
She just realised that she had taken a few steps closer to Silver, she was crouched down and growling again, her now glowing red eyes focused on his neck. She froze but remained crouching and growling... She didn't want to kill people did she?

"SHE DIDN'T DIE!" Busa screamed, "You killed her... Didn't you...? TELL ME!" He turned his attention to Lu and breathed a sigh of relief that she was OK. Or was she? She seemed incredibly distant, staggering towards Silver. Her eyes... He could swear that they weren't that colour before... No...

"She may have stumbled into my mate...if she did, well...she is dead." Nino said cruely, "Lu, you have a choice. Come with me, or I kill everyone here. If you kill me, the entire nest comes after you." She declared

Lu growled, she didn't like being bossed around. On top of that she couldn't tear her focus away from Silver, and the blood that was running through him.
In the back of her mind she considered the options she had and a clear winner came out. She didn't want Busa and Silver to die, they were still her friends; so that ruled out attacking Nino or Silver. She couldn't move, and she was still growling so she just nodded, hoping that the fact that she hadn't attacked anyone made her choice quite clear.

Busa shook his head vigorously. "NO. You're wrong. She'd never... She'd..." He had ran out of things to say. What Nino had said made sense, except he still refused to believe it. "Liar." He spat bitterly. That was all that sprung to mind. Except... He was becoming increasingly concerned about Lu. "Are you OK?" He asked cautiously.

"I knew you would chose that..." Nino said as she walked over to Lu and grabbed her gently. "Welcome to the nest, Lu." She said, ignoring Busa and fading into the shadows with Lumistar.

A growl started in Lu's throat as she realised she was being denied blood... What? No! She wanted to be denied her friends' blood! Didn't she? With her reaction jsut then, she wasn't so sure... But that all faded from her mind as she and Nino disappeared into darkness. The darkness was black and suffocating, but it felt very, very good to be in the dark...

"GET BACK HERE YOU MONSTER!" Busa boomed, staggering after them. He swore as he ran too fast and his knee pulsed in agony. He collapsed in a heap on the floor. "D@MN YOU!" He roared, smacking his fist on the dirt. "Silver, help me up! Tell me, did you see anything strange about Lu?"

"Yes, I noticed it. Must tell 'ya, something wasn't allright. Vampirism... Nino's mate bit her, which makes Lu a vampire as well. ...I think she wanted my blood. Know your tales." Silver sighed. "What can we do? They'll crush us all if we offend! No, even worse, they'll make us one of them!" he said as he lied down with no reason but confusion. His head ached, his mind full of all kinds of unsolved mysteries, conflicts and things that had to be done. His thoughts were running at full power, no, even harder. Like a machine which gets an overload of energy. Mental problems occurred with him before, but never as much as at that moment. The vampires, Lu, the rain, Dayn, Busa, Ophelia... Yes, Ophelia was the only thing he could get an answer to at the moment. "Tell me, Busa, you're Ophelia's father, aren't you?" he said in quite an unexpected, serious way, while searching for any evidence of where Lu and Nino went.

Dayn looked up and squinted. He rose, strode over to the figure, and inspected him critically. In the careful manner of the curious scientist, he kicked the shadow in the genitalia, wondering both if the apparition was solid, and if it was a he.

Busa held his breath at Silver's question. How the hell does he know about-- Then he remembered when he was in a rage outside. He definitely remembered mentioning her, but most of it was a daze. In fact he thought he had descended in a state of insanity.

"Um... Ophelia?" He muttered, slumping against the cave wall, exhausted. He then leaned forward eagerly. "Silver... You knew her? Please, tell me all you remember about her."
