Lumistar seemed to be the only one to have noticed that Nithran was hurt, besides the guards that had attacked him in the first place. She shoved them out of her way, not hurting them and not even looking at them, though she wasn't gentle. She opened her mouth to ask if he was OK but closed it again immediately; he obviously wasn't. She contemplated taking out the offending piece of rubble, but he would bleed to death. She turned around and glared at Dayn.
True, Nithran got on her last nerve and she didn't particularly like him, but for once he hadn't actually started the attack and hadn't deserved to get hurt. She also knew of the difficulties he had been through when he was younger, though she didn't really understand him.

"You are a liar and a hypocrite; there were no votes held around here so you were not elected by the creatures here. Go back to your own f***ing land, we don't want or need you here." She paused, her horns were glowing red again and her whole body was red-hot, though the guards would need to touch her to know. "I bet you were the one who caused this destruction to be able to take over this land, and you're trying to cover it up. The destruction here is what we came here to investigate and to see if we could help the people who lived here..." She trailed off, too angry to say much more. They hurt Nithran and not only that they'd had the ordacity to hurt Busa as well, as far as she was concerned Dayn could go rot in a hole underground.

"Elected leader, huh? You must've been chosen by all of your loyal guards, then. 'cause I didn't hear anything of any elections. Violence won't work, and area restrictions won't work either. Come on, we're Dragons! We can fly wherever we want, and then some elected leader makes up the rules? I don't think so." Silver still tried to get Dayn away without any physical action, but it wouldn't work. Still, Busa tried to do the same, and Lumistar... well, went to strike Dayn again. "Hmph, the stupidity of dictatorship still doesn't seem to have lost all of it's clients."

'I don't need to take insults from vagabonds,' Dayn said with contempt. 'Just kill them. I can always just string up the bodies.' His men followed his orders, with a certain air of solemn justice, advancing, and preparing to launch projectile magics. They stood in a ring, waiting for the vagabonds to move.

Dorfl roared, and charged, feinting to the left, but actually aiming for a leg sweep at the one who'd insulted him. Barbarians? They could talk. Insults while fighting, what was the world coming to...

"Wow, I think we made it angry!" said Serm in mock worry.

They decided to hover off the ground a few feet, hopefully enough to avoid whatever charge this dragon had in mind. With a few nods, they tried to coordinate attempts to surround him.

Dorfl fired off a few pot shots with pulses of electricity, powerful enough for a knock-out, at the two trespassers. He widened his legs, just as he'd been taught, for added accuracy and easier dodging. They were very into a scientific approach to fighting down at the citadel.

While Jeren had successfully avoided the shots, Serm had taken one and fell. He could barely stand, and had gotten a small burn. As he tried picking himself off the ground (against his desire to just lay there and fall unconscious), an idea came to his mind.

"Ha... is that it? You're weak... you got off a lucky shot... but you couldn't lay a scratch on me! I certainly managed to get a scratch on your face - a good one at that... though I'd say it's certainly an improvement, considering what it looked like before! Come on.. try to finish me..." He began taking a few steps towards his opponent, hoping that his opponent would meet him...

Jeren, in the meanwhile, was obviously enraged. He was seeking to avenge his friend, and he did not intend to give this dragon the chance to fire off any more electrical pulses. He was coming in fast, aiming to slam the assailant into the ground.

Busa was unharmed by the electricity since it was his element. He took this opportunity and hovered in the air towards Lumistar, Nithran and Silver. "Get off the ground! Quickly!" He shouted.

He turned his attention to one dragon who was staggering towards Dorfl. "Don't! I'll deal with him." He landed behind Dorfl and started to charge an Electricity beam. "What to feel the pain the others are feeling? Stop it now, or you will."

Dorfl, while tempted to end at least one of his opponents, could see his other enemy trying to charge him. Dorfl aimed at the charger, and sent out a volley of charges. When someone launches something at you in a straight line, the absolute worst thing to do is go towards it.

Jeren, determined to get to his opponent, absorbed the charges as he did before. It was still very unpleasant, like last time, but it was bearable. Didn't his opponent already try taking him out with electricity?

Serm, as he neared his opponent, was now capable of running. As he ran, he fumbled around with a wooden case until he found what he was looking for - the grip of one of the daggers with the horrible numbing agent. It wasn't visible, but he would be able to pull it out when he got close enough, close enough for a quick attack that would hopefully succeed and make one of his opponent's limbs useless.

Dorfl was wondering just how silly he had been. He rolled out of the way, and took another shot at the dragon whom he had shot down. Take him out first, he seems the easier target. Then handle the hot-head. In most cases, it was best to follow the policy of weakest first, Dorfl had decided long ago.

Serm was close enough now. He quickly pulled out one of the poisoned daggers.l He had received a nasty electrical shock, and was about to give, but at least planned to hurt his opponent badly before doing so. He thrust it at the dragon with all his might.

Jeren, in the meanwhile, now saw his chance. While his brother was thrusting the dagger, he jumped at the dragon from behind, aiming to claw away a huge chunk of the back of his neck.

Lumistar glanced at Nithran; she was so angry, and as a result hot, she dare not touch him. So she looked at Silver, hoping he would move Nithran. Meanwhile she hovered slightly off of the ground, hoping to back up Busa with whatever he was going to do. There were no outward signs yet, but she was charging up to fire a massive sparkler bomb so the group could get away if whatever Busa did missed some of the guards.
She would have loved to have captured Dayn and taken him with them for a while or something to teach him a lesson in being humble, but that was just silly; they would have to kill the guards in order to do so and despite how much she wanted to hurt Dayn and his guards, she was still against killing them.

Alright, if she was mad before, add in the upset and Lumistar was furious now.

She had paused and her hind legs had touched down on the ground as she heard Nithran say something, but now she was hovering again and she didn't really give a toss at what Busa was about to do or not do, Dayn and his men had killed one of the group, so negotiation and 'last chances' had officially gone out of the window.
The only very slight warning that the guards that had surrounded the group may have got was when Lumistar's horns glowed very brightly for a second and she drew herself up another few inches so that her attack would miss her friends surrounding her. But that only lasted a millisecond. Lu then let lose a blast of fire that quickly radiated out in a circular shockwave. It wasn't more than a couple of feet high, but it moved fast, was very hot and like the rest of her fire, very bright indeed. She knew she wouldn't get all of them and hoped the others wouldn't be too shocked at her reaction to back her up.

Silver did get hit by the shock. It hurt, but not as hard as he expected. He had been hit by lightning a few times, and this did not hurt pretty much more than that. However, it did hurt, and that made Silver angry. He quickly obeyed Busa's order, then looked at Lumistar, who was looking at Nithran. Right...

Without thinking any further, he flew towards Nithran, who just told Lu to kill Dayn, then stopped breathing. "Keep on, keep on living..." Silver said as he dragged the Dragon away, to a place further away from the centre of the battle. He didn't know what would happen to Nithran, and decided to leave him after telling him again that he must try to not pass away. Not that he expected it would help, though.

Silver returned to Busa and Lu, who was creating the big, eye-blinding fire shockwave. There he growled: "Dayn, you made the wrong choice... You're a murderer..."

"A WHAT?!" Busa raged. The Electricity ball between his paws disappeared and he turned to look at Nithran. He glared at Dayn. You b***ard..." He growled, then he turned to Lumistar, who was obviously in distress. "I'll see what I can do."

At that, he rushed to Nithran's torn body. He disliked him a lot, but he never wished death upon him. He knelt down beside him and lifted his paw. An electrical charge formed on it, and he placed it on Nithran's chest, hoping to re-start his heart.

Nithran's body just moved, but no breathing or signs of life came from him. It was pretty clear that he had bled out and died. the hole in his chest didn't help, either.

Busa was tiring - special attacks weren't his speciality - but nonetheless he tried again and again. No luck. If I can't... save him... I may just commit murder... He thought, shooting a sharp, cold glare at Dayn.

"M-U-R-D-E-R-E-R. That's what that you are, Dayn. And I hate murderers like you, Dayn. You've gone too far." Silver said with a sharp voice, then used the wind to move up some of the ruins' bricks and make a small rain of stones, heading towards Dayn. Fighting was not his specialty, but that didn't mean he couldn't do anything.

Dorfl tried a neat disarm on Serm, kicking him away, and then felt claw dig into his neck. He jerked his head forward, yelping, and spun the dagger into what he called "murderer grip" with the blade going backwards. He stabbed backwards, blindly, but, he reasoned, if he was close enough to rip stuff out of his neck, he'd probably be close enough to be stabbed.

Dayn smiled. All this time, he'd thought fire dragons were at the bottom of the heap, at this one time, being one saved his life. Four of his men were also fire dragons, and had survived the flame, but the others. Well, Dayn thought, we didn't have a hospital anyway. And it would have been quick. Now, it looked like Dayn had lost his advantage of numbers. But he would not lose. He owed his men that much. He leapt forwards, and went to kick Lumistar in the stomach. Two of his men backed him up, biting and clawing for all they were worth. Turning in mid-air, Dayn landed on top of Silver, immediately rolling over and holding Silver up, guarding against the little missiles someone had sent at him, 'Murderer am I? And you people aren't? You think those men were, I shudder to say it, "evil"? I know one of them had a fiancé.'

OOC: AH! Three way attacking. I just realised, that means my second bodyguard is dead. I liked him. He had a gritty style.
