"Haha, though sometimes I wish I had more fight in me." She replied to Nithran before she then looked at Dayn. "Coward, hiding behind all of your men. What kind of a Leader are you? Making them do the dirty work whilst you stay safe at the back? This is why I have no respect for you. What you did to Busa was deplorable, and you're being unfair to us as well. There is nothing wrong with us having a look around, no other Leader restricts the movements of his subjects. What are you doing sneaking around here anyway? Looting? It wouldn't surprise me." She didn't like Dayn, and she made it very clear in the tone of her voice.

Dayn was somewhat puzzled by the fact that people always expected the worst from their rulers. 'At the back? It's a circle with one line, you imbecile.' That triggered a mild series of chuckles around the ranks. Better than doubt, at least. 'And do you wish to submit. I have to say, I haven't seen you assault any of my men, so it would be a much more lenient sentence. Probably just a fine.'

It wouldn't do, Dayn thought, to seem to care for what peasants had to say. All the same, he'd send out a report later, to reassure the people. Bad apples, after all...

OOC: I like the way we get these different viewpoints. I'm seriously seeing you guys as criminals.

'I'll take that as a refusal to surrender. Subdue them both, but don't kill them unless you have to. I won't have defiers of the law in my lands, and an execution will serve as proof of that.' His men charged, and after half a second's hesitation, so did Dayn. He wasn't about to risk his life to some primitive bloodlust, but it wouldn't do to be seen as frightened of the battle.

Serm wasn't surprised to see his opponent avoid his attack. As he took an elbow to the stomach, he resisted the pain and the urge to reel, instead trying to pull off three quick slashes with his claws - one for the face, another for the throat, another for the gut - while his opponent would certainly be expecting him to flinch. It was hard to ignore the urge to retch and pull back, but it was a feint he had pulled off before, and was planning to pull off with success now.

Jeren saw a nod from Serm shortly before their attacker had retaliated. In response immediately made a charge, trying to dig his claws into his target's spine with one swipe.

Dorfl gave a strangled yelp as claw connected with face, and pushed his assailant away before any more damage could be done. He was then free to deal with his second opponent, catching his arm and flipping him up in the air.

Dayn was only mildly suprised to see the same attack, and jumped over the fireball with a poetic twirl, just for fun. 'Three times? What kind of amateur are you?' he catcalled, and watched as five of his men all dived at the psychopath from different angles.

Nithran's eyes flashed with glee as he pointed to the ground where Dayn landed and caused fire to burn there.

(Yeah, I know. This is one of those moments where a caracter gains soem power.)

Jeren was surprised at his opponent's deftness and found himself in the air. He was able to soften his fall with his wings, however, and swung his tail at his opponent in the process, hoping that the tip (or any part, for that matter) would hit the face.

Serm now hung back a bit, recovering from the blow that he had received. In the meantime, he focused on transferring some of his own heat to a small point on his target's back, hoping to induce a burning sensation that would throw him off. This would cool him a bit, but the fight would warm him up.

...Urgh...

Busa slowly opened his eyes and looked at blurry clouds in the sky. His head was throbbing like mad. How long had he been unconscious?

Slowly, he sat up groaning and rubbed the back of his head and looked around. Fighting. Fireballs flying everywhere. Oh for f***'s sake...

Busa grabbed his staff and staggered to his feet, wincing from more pain in his back where he had landed. He glared at the scene, and held up his paws so that they were facing each other. A large ball of Electricity appeared. He hurled it up high into the air where it exploded. ((doesn't harm anyone, it's just to get their attention.))

"EVERYONE! ENOUGH!" Busa bellowed. "Honestly. Can't we solve anything without resorting to violence?!" He shouted, staggering to one side as he had a dizzy spell.

Lumistar had been charging up a massive sparkler fireball to let off so that she, Nithran, Busa and Silver (wherever he was) could scurry away before they got overwhelmed. Stopping a fireball at such a developed stage was uncomfortable, but not impossible. She shut her mouth and literally swallowed the energy before she looked at Busa, but her horns were still glowing like fire embers due to the energy she had built up. However, she didn't completely dispell the energy back around her body; peace talks with the pompous Dayn and his guard hadn't worked before and they were unlikely to now...

Dayn hopped back again, blowing on his hands. Well, that was new. 'Well, my good man, if you could convince your friends to surrender, I'm sure that won't be a problem.'

Dorfl lifted his hands and caught the tail, his hands stinging in an annoying manner. He swung the dragon around, aiming to throw him directly at the other intruder. It was at that point that his back started to burn. He let go a little too early as a result, and threw the dragon a little too far to the right.

"We're not going to surrender for you, so neither will you. Fighting continues untill the strongest has won, then preparations for another fight are made. Still, we're pretty innocent and have the right to go wherever we want. You, though, limit our rights, leading to the expected concequences." Silver said as he appeared from above and slowly landed. Busa was right. It was enough. "Dayn, why is this ground so important to you? I don't understand what is the purpose for you to claim this area. Give me at least one simple, good reason why we aren't allowed to go here and please, stop this useless fight."

Nithran was tackled to the ground, where he was impaled through his chest by a peice of rubble. Nithran began to cough up blood in surprise as he looked down at the bloodied peice of rubble and the guards who were on top of him. It was their fault...

OOC: No Linx, why would it be at you? I could have sworn you hadn't even arrived. Also, why is impalement so common in these ruins.

Dayn grinned, 'I have fifteen reasons.' and he pointed round at his fifteen men. 'As you said, the strongest win. But in some cases, the most numerous have a good shot at winning as well. Honestly, acting as if you have a right to trespass on private property. I think that one has broken the law.' he remarked to his men, pointing at the newcomer. 'At the very least I could build a case for treason. Take him out as well.'
Three of his men obliged, darting forward, two linking arms to tackle their target, and the other watching their backs, specifically since he was so close to the older dragon. Dayn's caution rubbed off on his soldiers.

Jeren tried to brace himself, but he ended up falling and rolling to the floor, getting a few scrapes. "You can't beat us!" he said as he picked himself up. "Where is Dayn?! We need to speak to him, and you're not going to stop us!"

"Private property? As if. Mr. Dayn "the rich and noble one" suddenly "owns" an enormous heap of stone. Amazing how quickly the freedom of going around wherever you want disappears. I think I liked it better when the rules were still not there..." Silver said.

"Heh, you can't solve anything without violence, do you?" Silver growled as he saw the guards coming to him, ready to tackle him. He saw them coming, and he just mandged to avoid it quickly. One second too late and he would have been tackled. That was close... he thought, then said: "Dayn, I won't fight like you. You just have no valid reason to mark this area as an area that is not accessible for us."

"How can you say we've assaulted this man when we've never even seen him?" asked Serm in a voice that was heavy with shock.

"Yeah, we didn't attack anyone except you, and that was in self-defense!" added Jeren. If there were two things he remembered, it was that they should try not to get charged with any crime, and that if they were, explicit proof was needed. "Besides, I don't see any of your lackies."

Busa righted his posture, still feeling a bit dizzy and his head throbbing. "Why must everything be argued using violence these days? I used to only ever see such atrocities when I was fighting in the war, before most of you lot were even born! It just shows what this place has become. Well, I've seen enough death and suffering in my life, and I'm not prepared for any more of it! Either you all stop this nonsense, or I leave you all for good."

'You launched *bleep* fireballs at us you b******s!' Dorfl shook his head, wondering at himself. If Lord Dayn had heard him say that, he'd be given dungeon duty for half a month.

"Ah, that? Oh, I did that to get your attention," Serm began, "and I assumed that anyone that was in the area would be smart enough to get out of the way, if there was anyone. We heard that we could find Dayn here."

"You credit them too much intelligence, Serm. As this barbarian has clearly shown, they would need to put all their heads together just to tell the difference between day and night!" Jeren laughed.
