So Galactic, Pink, and Geo are character names, and you have stated
their body colors. Now you might want to work on their body size and
wingspan, so that they begin to be more diverse. Think of their age when
dealing with their size and wingspan. The younger, the smaller.
A young dragon that is about 7 feet long will have a wingspan of about
7.5 - 8 foot wingspan. [Original Spyro's wingspan is wrong, by this matter]

I agree with you about the story so far. I want to get that changed, but MC is just so stubborn... Well, I'll convince her sooner or later.
It's very interesting site, though. Lots of nice names ^_^

Yes, I've finally finished the cave/tunnel thingy, and now I'm going to the rest of the valley. There's still some small things like water and waterfalls in the cave, but I'll deal with that later. And it seems that the collision detection system is better than I thought (Most due to me doing some tricks)! Something that would run on 5-10 FPS now runs on 45, and this is an insane gain. Therefor I'll make the levels larger than planned ![]()

Hey. I can't believe I just found this. That looks like a very good start! More talent than I have. Hepolite =
Hepolite, I worked for 5 years for a visualization company as a modleller/texturer/animator - basically a go-to guy. We did animations as well as interactive demos for urban planning projetcs (aka what will this building look like once built and is the planner making the right choice) for our clients so I am versed in both low and moderate polygon modelling.
I've got quite a bit of experience making 3D models but not characaters (you wouldn't know it by some of my works). I'm currently working on making a cynder mesh for a request in the Moneybag's Forum. Take a look and if you think I can help you out in anyway let me know.
It's been a while since I have done work like this so I'll be kind of rusty but I'm here if you need me.
PM me if you'd like to see more of my work (I have a Flickr account with more of my work on there but they're all for animation and not real-time gameplay).

You know if you ever need someone else for the story I could always cook something up for you.

It's going slowly, but steadily. I believe the worst has been done, and that was setting the system up. The current game version is stable, but some annoying bugs still exists (Mainly the camera jumping up and down near the ceiling and other camera related things). I had an issue with the other attack I added today, but I believe I fixed that.
As I've stated earlier, the ETA is still somewhere in June, I may get a demo out earlier, depending on how much I get get done. I won't be able to do much in middle May, due to exams.

Well, right now there aren't much to tell about...
I've got the engine to run fairly well and that kind of stuff. I'm heading towards a combination between platforming/puzzle and action, and so far it doesn't look good -_- Just three jumps and you're done.
Hopefully my skills as designing levels will improve later when I get to "the goodies". However, the current part of the level is larger than anything I've ever made (That was not randomly generated!), and I'm not even near getting it done.

We have story-writers, but any ideas is welcome. PM them over, and I'll have a look at them.
I'm going to work on a combat-system now, and it will take a lot of time since I need to make a lot more animations. So far there are two types of attack, and I'm working on a third. I'm planning on many more, but testing and making sure they all work is time-consuming work...

Sorry about this turning into a double-post, but I have loads of news:
First of all, I believe I've figured out a great way for a combat system. It does not support blocking yet, but that will (hopefully) be included soon. I have successfully added the third attack, and I can confirm it works as it should. About 80% of the time... I'm searching for a solution, and I hope to get this fixed within short time.
I've also been working on a very, very cool feature. I'm not going to reveal it right now, as it still needs some more fixes. Hopefully, this function will add a lot more to the game ![]()
I also want to announce that there's some progress with the idea phase of the game! The goal is more clear and developing speed can increase. But I don't want to change the ETA (Middle June) yet.
... And I've done uncountable small fixes, tweaking some edges, fixing some other misc things.
I'll post another update in a few days.

Currently there's just a tiny bit done. I still have to make it into a game, right now it's just an engine. I still have loads of things to add, especially the story, which I believe will take most time. The ETA is still in June, and it appears that it will stay that way for now. I can't tell for sure.

I've been running on other forums, and people seems to be interested in this project. I don't know yet how many that wants to join in, but I'll know in a few days. There's no new updates about the game.
