I locked your topic because there are already threads like this where you can talk about it. And the way you presented your topic was rude and would most likely start flame wars.

Re: Your opinion on the TLOS games
Is it just me or are ahlf the topics on this forum either Old Vs New topics or end up that way. Owell.
My opinion on the TLOS games is that they are pretty mediocre games. Games that you'd rent and then never play again. Obviously why they are so rememberable on these forums is because its a spyro forum, but yeah im not too for them.
In my opinion, the Spyro games were waisted on TLOS. I'd much rather the old Series to continue than TLOS happen. But yeah, Probably Spyro would've died if TLOS didn't happen, I'm happy atleast that TLOS is keeping Spyro on life support, But I wouldn't be upset if they ditched it.
I'm not as angry as I once was and i usually only rant on TLOS these days because I am bored.

Re: Your opinion on the TLOS games
I think it's kinda silly to compare the both types of Spyro. They are both good in their own way, and if you enjoy them, what does it matter? The Legend of Spyro series is over now anyway... lets see what the future holds.

Re: Your opinion on the TLOS games
I'd agree with Ratchet. LoS isn't particularly bad, it's mediocre. It's more that Spyro has shifted from being a legit series to more of a bargain bin game, like Sonic and Crash have.
And by the way, for any of you turning into a penguin, stop it.

Point out those topics to me and I'll lock them too. I can't be here 24/7 to catch all the trolling threads. ![]()
Anyway, as usual, I agree with ratchet on this.

Re: Your opinion on the TLOS games
I also agree with Ratchet on this. I enjoy both series for what they are but the originals are still the best in the end...and LoS has managed to keep it going just in the miracle that they develop a good game sometime down the road.

I agree too ![]()
I would pick the classic Spyro style anyday, but im still glad when tLoS keeps Spyro alive. TLoS entertained me a bit, but i still cant hide the fact they are mediocre.

Re: Your opinion on the TLOS games
I really like TLOS games, I haven't got TEN or DOTD yet but I'll get them in time. But I thought A new beggining had a really good storyline, as it progresses. Sparx always makes me laugh.

I agree with Ratchet.
C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER
And yeah, they shouldn't be compared. I see them as two completely different games/series, so it doesn't matter how different they are ![]()
Yo Stormy, I've got an idea. How about I be a mod 24/7? ![]()

Re: Your opinion on the TLOS games
I vote we get back on topic. <.<
Personally I've played through the TLOS games quite a few times after finishing them, though I wish there was more collectables or something to give subsequent playthroughs more meaning (besides thrashing everyone with maxed attacks, which is fun for a while)
Oh great, my lighthouse is on fire again, be right back...

Yea, the mini activities to earn eggs or orbs was great, and the collection of scattered gems was excellent. Plus there were the theifs, an they were entertaining trying to catch them all... lol.

Re: Your opinion on the TLOS games
Well kinda. I got sick of all these TLOS fans going "How can you make up your mind about the games if you havn't even played them" and I guess that was true. I wanted to try them out for myself.
I remember the first time I played ANB I actually liked it. I took it over to my friends house and stuff. But soon that changed...
I dont remember liking Eternal night or DOTD, especially DOTD

Re: Your opinion on the TLOS games
Lol. Same for me. I liked ANB in the start, but when i finished it i was all but pleased. I was very disappointed because of its short length. When i was doing all those super-easy bosses, i was thinking "Theres gotta be harder ones later in the game!". When the game got very repetive, the only thing that was keeping me in front of the tv screen was the conversations between the guardians i was waiting. There wasnt much of those after all.

I Loved All Three, I Disliked Eternal Night the most because of the pirates and all the ships... I still loved it though.

I'm not as big on TEN as ANB or DotD, but I still enjoyed it, especially rampaging through the second playthrough with DS.

Re: Your opinion on the TLOS games
No I was merely pointing something out to begin with O.O...but again this is going to be debated forever seeing as how the two separate universes will never be on in the same.
