Hmm...I can see earth dragon because of his build....but that one is kinda hard to make out.....he does have some similar traits to Ignitus.....hmmm....and I don't think he is arrogant enough to be ice lol....so who knows.

I guess the bets thing to do is to get a colourless sketch of him and see which colours work, or he could be that green dragon we see in the cutscence when hunter is exaplaining about the dragon city.

Re: Solving Unanswered Spyro Questions and Connecting TLOS to the Originals
How do Spyro and Cynder grow while trapped in the crystal?
Well incase you don't feel like browsing through to find it.....it was never truly revealed to the meaning of this "growth".
Personally I don't think they grew at all....the image of them appearing older was simply the aftereffect of EL and their change in character design. I believe they are still the same age they were in the previous games.....it's just the different art style that made them appear older.
And of course Sierra pushed the idea that they had grown three years older when it doesn't make any real sense seeing as how they were frozen in time crystal.

That's just another factor that was included with the change in art style....and Sierra attempted to make up some rediculous excuse to cover up for it just like they did with most of those plotholes.

Re: Solving Unanswered Spyro Questions and Connecting TLOS to the Originals
Yes that was one of the problems I had with it...but easily overlooked. I can deal with plotholes to a degree....mainly because we can all come up with excuses most of the time to fill them in....most people hated the gameplay...which was tolerable at best....but the plotholes were never a big issue to me.

Re: Solving Unanswered Spyro Questions and Connecting TLOS to the Originals
How do Spyro and Cynder grow while trapped in the crystal?
THere has not been an official answer to that question, but several reasons have cocked up:
1.It was a mistake, a plothole
2.The Crystal had weird magic. It stopped Spyro and Cynder, but they still aged
3.They werent older, it was a change in art style
I've asked the developers several times and they havn't responded. Its more or less up to the fans to decide why, but I wont go with number 3 as EL and Sierra had publicized several times that Spyro and Cynder were older, had grown, and were now teenagers.

Which...of course many of us don't believe. They will never give a full response to that....and if they do for some miraculous reason then I really want to see it.

Because it's a convenient plot element. IE. They probably came up with the idea of her attacking it as DotD was in development.

Cynder no doubt attacked lots of areas. You just don't get told about it much.

Re: Solving Unanswered Spyro Questions and Connecting TLOS to the Originals
Would be a rather intersting game I'm sure...but yeah....they came up with stuff like that as they developed the game. Cynder was responsible for killing of quite a few dragons and all sorts of other junk...but I don't think they have enough reason to make a game based around it.

Re: Solving Unanswered Spyro Questions and Connecting TLOS to the Originals
That's perfectly understandable. I think it would be pretty cool to see as well...I just don't think they would ever consider it because of the story surrounding it.

Unless like it has been said in the past as a hand-held game. But this is going off topic now i think.

Re: Solving Unanswered Spyro Questions and Connecting TLOS to the Originals
Well, I love both old and new Spyro games. Playing through the trilogy was great and I loved playing Season of Ice on my easy-dying Game Boy Advance.
When my friend Liam showed me Enter the Dragonfly in its lovely packaging, all I could say is "Put it in! Put it in!". But as soon as I started playing, I decided that this game would not be my first PS2 game. Spyro was difficult to control and the loading times were horrible. Spyro AHT (Hero's Tail) was awesome. I was back to my childhood, playing through the game like I did when Insomniac developed Spyro.
I was impressed with the fresh direction that the developers took, but this doesn't mean that they can leave gameplay flaws. I despised the whole blocky combat system. I don't mind combat myself, as I have also grown up with this lovely RPG game called Morrowind, where I have defeated even the toughest of enemies (Boleyn Venim comes to mind). But fighting off waves of monkeys where the combat is blocky gets me tired far too easily.
Secondly, Spyro sounds like he is sleeping when he talks. Other than Insomniac, Eurocom was the only company that actually got the motivation right for the voice actors\actresses in a Spyro game. I definitely hope that the next Spyro game will have more old characters (but with revamped personalities) and better motivation for the voice actors and actresses for the game.
I'm a secret duck who lives in the glitchy but nice Honey Marshes. My day to day job is to spy on the blue guys so they won't get up to much mischief.

Now that's a non-biased review, JakBandi Fan. Good for you. ![]()
A Hero's Tail wasn't too bad. It had its flaws, but I still consider it Spyro.
And I agree with Ratchet's theory!

I dislike AHt for many reasons. I got the game finally in 2007 after much hesitation, and it was exaculy as i expected. It tries to be like old spyro but changes the wrong things. I disliked the minigames, i disliked the size:amount level ratio, i disliked the switched controls, and spyro isnt spyro without stewart copeland, or a stewart copeland immitator (though I did like some of the music).
I liked the humour though, and thats something that i have not come across much in other people
