Re: DDR fans!

I don't get why they put the bars on the back, wouldn't it be more logical to put them on the side?

Re: DDR fans!

Well, you need to support your body on something when you play. I haven't used a bar, and I think I've reached the limit of what I can do without one.  If you watch "professional" players, they will always be holding onto the bar and barely lifting their feet. I think the bar is on the back because it is one place you can rest your weight on. If there were two on the sides, it would probably be unbalanced and awkward.

Re: DDR fans!

[sub]Yeah, I think I could do much better with the bar if I could learn how to use it. Certain songs like Fascination are just impossible for me to pass on Heavy without some kind of support; I always feel like I'm going to fall over when I do them, plus I'd probably be less worn out if I could hang on to something. I've seen Youtube videos where people do amazing things holding on to that bar. It looks so... professional....

So our pad is broken again.... Stupid thing. >_>[/sub]

Re: DDR fans!

[sub]Haha, Cartoon Heros. It took me forever to learn to pass that one.

If DDR was in Hell, I'm pretty sure the only song would be Paranoia Hades. Not even DDR_Maniac can pass it. [/sub]

Re: DDR fans!

Hey, I passed Paranoia Hades...well once. You're thinking of Trip Machine Phoenix. Now that, is a really hard song. If only I didn't have that surgery, my scores would be much better now.

Re: DDR fans!

Butterfly...the song everyone thinks of when they think DDR. -_-

Which game are you getting? Because only Extreme 2 has Butterfly in it. And it's a fast version.

Re: DDR fans!

Yeah, those two games are some of the best. You should get Supernova though, it has some good songs. I can't wait for DDR: X now. (Cheesy name, but the game sounds good)

Re: DDR fans!

that would be AWESOME! If they haven't already, they should support online challenges on the newer systems, like Wii, Xbox360, and PS3. DDR is fun already, but challenging other people around the world would make it even BETTER!

Re: DDR fans!

There is online play on SuperNova and SN2. I'm thinking DDR: X probably has the online feature too.
