Lancer's 3D Models (Non-Spyro)

Unsure if this is the right forum to put this, but it isn't anything Spyro related, so I guess it is.

Alright, I'm going to dump my screenshots of models I make in Blender.  The Hunter is the one I'm most proud of and I'll talk about a lot of things dealing with modelling for games and just good ol' designing.

Me and someone in a Heavy Gear 2 MSN group are planning on making a HG (Heavy Gear) remake and he wants me to model up some things, I'm currently modelling the gears I know very well (and the Hunter is the most well known of them). Here's some screenies of my models. These are all from Blender.

Hunter Remake Model (Finished in about 6 hours due to first time using Blender)

And here's how I hope the model will look in the remake if we ever get to it.

You'll notice a difference between the Hunter and the Black Mamba (next one), they're from the different armies, the CNCS (Northern army) has blocky looking Gears and the MILITIA (Southern Army) have rounded Gears.

Black Mamba finished in roughly 4 hours

Thanks. It might look hard at the start, but after a while it becomes really easy.

Re: Lancer's 3D Models (Non-Spyro)

And here's a very cool looking model, I purposely made it look like this to add a kind of awe inspiring look. I'll post the completely finished look when I finish it (not yet done). And this is something mechwarrior!

And here's the final version, not many changes except for the terrain.

Re: Lancer's 3D Models (Non-Spyro)

hmmm, you have a good base for them, especially the first one, now just try to refine it and smooth out the edges and such.

Re: Lancer's 3D Models (Non-Spyro)

Thanks, some of the edges won't smooth out (take that mech with the laser's left arm), and sometimes smoothing them up can screw up the shadows and make them go crazy around the part.
