Re: Poetry
That is very true.*smiles and hugs him again* Hmmm....So brom. What are your favorite poets? Mine are Robert Frost and Shakespear. There are others but I always forget their names and I hate that.

Re: Poetry
I know, Christian , sorry, I keep getting confused and forgetting the differences between them, I'm not even sure which one I am XD.
dragonrider91 and dragonqaz, you've both inspired me to run upstairs and start composing my own poetry.

Re: Poetry
your sweet too. here's my poem that I quickly ...ah scribbled
Perched high atop the blackened cliff,
He glazed upon the distant land,
With pride in his eyes,
He dreamed of the day he will reclaim his land,
But this not be his ultimate prize,
Torching the village with acres of flames,
The kings peasants were running amock,
So it is he to blame,
The Royality line had to submit,
That they were fools was what they admit,
Destroying these beasts,
Cannot be a feast,
It is dragons that have the ultimate fist.
I know it sounds bad, but boy has it been a long time since I last wrote a poem.
It was a bit hard to notice but the start was through a dragon's eyes.
Ah Everythings back to normal.

Ž · Haha, basing from what I've read, it's true that In the eye of the dragon lies a secret wherein only the Soul Binded ones can claim.

Re: Poetry
That Gator was mean.
I thought I was a goner.
Thanks for saving me.
Beware the water.
Snapping jaws of piranah.
Claim many victims.
This door jammed shut.
Only the poewr of gems
Can hope to move it.
No, your haiku poetry stinks:
Dad gummit, dragon.
Just cough up those stinking gems.
And I can go home.
Sure, just shut up:
You've mad a wise choice...
It will mean more eggs for you...
and more gems for me.
Best of all, Spyro...
I can stop speaking haiku.
What a sweet relief.
Stop talking to me.
I hate speaking in haiku.
Just go find some gems.
You are brave, dragon.
Much braver than I, by far.
Here, take this darn egg.
When all lamps are lit
there is a secret in here
that I will show you.
The tea lamps are lit!
now I'll tell you the secret
of what's in this house!
A creepy wizard
lives inside, but hates the light.
He has awoken.
He swore to destroy
whoever lights the tea lamps.
Better you than me.
Sheila:
This swamp smells so sweet.
The springtime trees are fragrant.
I'm off to kick butt.
Basho the firefly:
We have the bombs here.
We must destroy the egg cage.
But we just go boom.
Kangaroo can help!
You can clear the path for us!
Will sheila help?
Sorry just passing through:
We will be waiting.
When you return to help us,
we shall bomb again!
Yes I love your freestyle haiku:
Yes! It's bombing time!
Here I come my little eggs,
to free you at last!!
Failure:
OW...
I went boom again.
Big rocks can be kicked, they say,
Mushrooms must be stomped.
Success:
One egg cage remains.
Will you help me brother
to free the last egg?
Buson the firefly:
If you clear my path
I can blow up the egg cage.
Poor, poor captive eggs.
Success:
The eggs are all free!
Two dragons are born today!
Shiela's my hero.
all the haiku from YOtD Spooky Swamp.
