I've been trying to get past this spot in diamond forever. I want to go east from the resort, but some guy stops me and says there's a blackout tv the city. How do I get past?

Go west from Jubilife to Canalave City, fight your rival, and then beat the gym there, etc. etc. Once you beat the gym, stuff will happen. Go to the library, complete stuff, go to Snowpoint (pick up a poke-ball on the ground on a snowy route, it contains an HM), beat the gym there, and then complete the rest of the quest, etc. etc. Once you do that stuff, then you can go past.

That said, I'm not sure we need a thread for this.

umm, a guy, i think that was actually pretty rude.... i mean if you want to give people information on how you beat that part you should make your own, even if you get it from websites. because this is where Spyromaster64 gives out HIS information not yours. and so what if you can go ahead and get your own information. but this time, it's free, simple, and you don't have to move a muscle! so i think you should just let go a little.

P.S. In Pokémon Fire Red and Leaf Green, go inside the Game Corner in Celadon City. Use the Itemfinder lots of times... and let's just say that you should be prepared to find loads of coins.

Spyromaster is the obvious choice of course seeing as how this is HIS advice thread....but that doesn't mean that other members can't also put their own two senses in.

Anyways, in Pokemon D&P, many people like to use Garchomp. My solution... a Floatzel with focus sash, max attack & speed EVs, and Ice Fang. It pretty much assures a OHKO.

If you're wondering where to find Garchomp, go off to the right after you go down Cycling Road. There is a hidden cave under the bridge. Go through one room of the cave, and in the next room, you can find Gible, which evolves into Gabite, which evolves into Garchomp.

You might be able to find it in the first room, but I believe it's only in the second room.

Hints and tips time!

An exellent team for the Battle Tower in Diamond and Pearl is Garchomp, Rypherieor and Dragonite. I've tried this combo and got a winning streak of 126, and I'm still going!

In Pokémon Emerald, after you beat the Elite Four, the TV will start flashing in your house. Your mom will ask if the Pokémon was red or blue.
Say blue if you want Latios and red if you want Latias. You'll soon see what I mean!

After the Elite Four, every 2 days (this has to be every 2 days, not 1 or 3 days, 2 or it won't work), go to the Mossdeep City Space Center. Talk to the scientist man looking out the window at the end of the first floor. He will say it was a successul launch and then he will say a number. Every 2 days when you talk to him this numbe will increase by 1. When it gets to 100, go to the back of the Center. You will see that you can now enter the giant rocket. When you go somewhere, go outside. Look around, and you will find Jarachi.

I did all of these on Diamond... WITHOUT A CHEAT SYSTEM. Yes, I play Diamond that much. Sue me.

Time for some more tasty cheats, hints, tips and codes!

Pokémon Diamond

If you like getting berries, go to these three places and look around, talking to everyone you see...

In all the houses in Pastoria City
The Berry Masters house (to the left of Hearthome City)
The flower shop in Floroma Town

All these places and areas have one person each who will give you a berry. The woman in Pastoria gives the rarest berries, and the one in Floroma gives the most common. The Berry Masters' berries are kind of in between in rarity.

Tips on making your Pokémon more friendly!

Feed them special berries that decrease a certain stat by a little, but make them friendlier.

Go to the two massage areas in Sinnoh - The house near the Gym in Veilstone City and the Ribbon Syndicate in the Resort Area. Give your Pokemon massages, and there you go! They'll come to like you more!

Try catching the Pokémon in a Luxury Ball. They'll love it. Trust me on that one, I caught my Pikachu (Male) and Pikette (A Female Pikachu who I nicknamed) in Luxury Balls, and they came to like me really fast. Try it out, it works!

Sure, that's great for the AI that isn't smart enough to put up a good team, but against other players, that isn't as good. Players tend to expect you to use a Garchomp, so they'll have an ice attack handy. All three of your Pokémon are vulnerable to ice attacks, with Garchomp and Dragonite going down with a single ice attack.

One of my favorite tactics is to have Regigigas (when I feel like using legendaries, which I usually don't) and either a Psychic Pokémon or Shuckle come out in a double battle. I'll have the Psychic Pokémon use Skill Swap/Gastro Acid (respectively) with Regigigas to take away Regigagas's Slow Start ability so it can start owning on the first turn.

That's cool, but you may have noticed that most legendaries aren't allowed in the Battle Tower.

Pokémon Emerald

Go to Mossdeep City, then keep on traveling (surfing) north for 5 seconds, turn left for 2 seconds, then keep on going up. You will reach the Shoal Cave. Here, on everyday, you will find exclusive items, like Shoal Salt and Shoal Shells! Get four of these, then talk to the man near the entrance on the inside of the Shoal Cave. He will make a Shell Bell for you! Each day, four more of each of these ingredients appear in the cave.
