Extinct Creatures?

About the extinct creatures you see, do you think there could have been another level with all those. I was thinking more of a dream level where you accompany the druids to defeat nightmares or something (Armapillos, Ticks, and that weird lizard with a leg of ham in his hand.) Also, do you think the 'Catabatus' was a previous, but scrapped version of the Catbat in Skelos Badlands?

I'm not sure. But I think that one of the extinct creatures reminds me of those flying, firebreathing beasts in Enchanted Towers.

The extinct creatures were actually finished models for monsters in the game that never were put into the game, either because they had movement issues, or the developers just couldn't find the right place to put them in. The wings and halo's were added to them for the pictures, they didn't always have them. The wings and halo's were supposed to show they had died off.
