Re: DDR?
Well in American money. Maybe it would be more where you live. A used PS2 here is 109$. We should have saved up a few more $$$$ and bought a PS2 instead of a fricken' GameCube.

Re: DDR?
I still think there's really no point in getting a PS2 when PS3 is coming out soon anyway....
EDIT: Never mind. Too expensive.
While I'm editing this post...
This is a song from ITG. How can you press 3 arrows at once?

Re: DDR?
Ž · Use your hands. I've already found Stepmania songs with 3 simoltaneous arrows...
Yeah 25$ in my country is *bleep* BIG. It's about... 1250 PHP... not considering that the round-off was from 51.67 PHP per dollar...? I forgot.

Re: DDR?
Ok. Well that explains why you thought it was a lot. Our family is far from rich...
Use your hands...? Ok well if the song is fast I'd probably fall. XD
I have been practicing Orion .78 AMeuro mix, and I can almost get the max combo now. I was 3 goods and 2 missses away.

Re: DDR?
Ž · I suppose you're doing it in training mode. Well after the song there's supposed to be a function that lets you "check" your steps... so that you'll see if it was perfect, great, boo, good, or miss...

Re: DDR?
Ž · Oh. Never mind. >_> Haha. Because Training Mode = My key to success. It's very handy especially if you want to perfect even the hardest songs ever... (Assist type 4 PWNS everything)

Re: DDR?
I never use Game Mode. I would rather just play the songs without having to restart a new game every five songs.
(Assist type 4 PWNS everything)
That is true. When I'm practicing Orion .78 or another hard song that I can't quite get a B on, I slow it down to speed 3 or so and put on the assist, sometimes type 6 (the one with the metronome and clapping).

Yes I use the assist to learn it, but I usually set records on game mode.

Re: DDR?

For some reasons...
1. Look for where you place your DDr pad. You may be locating your Back arrow at the very wrong place.
2. You may be too tense on stepping on it.
3. Be careful on how you step on it.
Yeah and just recently I almost felt the forward arrow broke..-_- good thing I noticed that it was just a little displacement so I opened the pad and fixed it upright again...

I don't think the position of the pad would have much of an effect on a metal pad.... It's OK though, we're getting a replacement arrow... for $20! >_<

Re: DDR?
Ž · Wow, great. Now you gotta get other DDR games >_> Haha. Once you get DDR4th Mix on the PSX, unlock all the songs and work your heart out, haha. To unlock everything in DDR4th Mix, simply go in Game Mode, and complete 95 songs... in any difficulty... That isn't hard to do if you just adjust the Game Options in the option "Game Ending" (or something like that) to simulation and not arcade. That way, you won't end the game mode until you press X after finishing a song. If you press circle after finishing the song, game mode continues. Whatever, you haven't even got DDR4th mix yet.

Re: DDR?
I was looking for it, but I only found the soundtrack. I saw that the game only works on a Japenese Playstation. Is that true? Me and Blueflame almost have enough to buy a PS2, so we can get DDR Extreme 2, DDR Extreme, DDR Max 2, and DDR Max. That will keep us busy for a while. They don't even have any 10 footers in Konamix. >.<

Re: DDR?
Ž · I'm not sure... all I know is our PSX and PS2 has some pretty high-tech mode chips... well, the DDr4th Mix version is Japanese, but it's still in NTSC format, I know, so it should work. And half of the game is english, while half is japanese, so you could still understand it... Actually, less than half is japanese...
For our PS2... I dunno why it plays PAL games and NTSC games at the same time... ROFL. Well, you really gotta get DDR4th Mix... But the highest number of footers it has is 6 panels.

Re: DDR?
Well everywhere I've read about it, it is only for the Japenese Playstation.
http://www.ddrfreak.com/versions/listver.php I forgot how to do a link name. >.<
^^^^It says that DDR 4th is only for Japanese PS.
But the highest number of footers it has is 6 panels.
I was talking about the level of difficulty of the song. A 10 footer would be the hardest. I know, Konamix only go's to 6 panels too.

That's what I said.
ME
A 10 footer would be the hardest
So is it only for Japenese PS or not?

Re: DDR?
Ž · I'm not sure, probably not, because my PSX came from America, and we installed a modchip about... 9 years ago, and we're able to play DDR4th mix. Hey, in the Black PS screen it says that it's SCEA and not SCEJ ...
