Re: dragon support
If you really enjoy moderating a forum created by someone who spams other forums for advertising, then go a head.

Re: dragon support
Something like this happened a few months ago, I agree with SR, I thought it looked like a nice forum but now I am tempted to stay away. Spyrorocks, why didn't you lock this thread when youfirst saw it? I thought you didn't like advertising on your forum.

Re: dragon support
I don't like the advertising of any other forums on here. I thought it might be good to keep it open for discussion about this one guy who seems to like to spam this place with his own forums.

Yes, he was only here to advertise his forum and spam it to people in PMs.

Re: dragon support
I had a bad feeling about that site from the first place. ([sup:eb0abd894a]X[/sup:eb0abd894a][sub]_[/sub][sup:eb0abd894a]X[/sup:eb0abd894a])
And, being a mod is quite a bonus prolly. I mean, you don't need to be a MOD to have fun here!

Re: dragon support
As I hate flamers, I hate spammers but I despise abusers most. I mean, he "abuses" you to spread his forum which is honestly the worst forum I ever seen formatting wise AND aesthetics wise.
Now to remove that "Join Sparkz new forum!" on your siggy. If you like, you can use this code and replace everything in the signature box:

Re: dragon support
No, theres loads of them. As SR said he was using the forum to advertise but he was keeping this one open so we could discuss the issue to raise awareness. There's at least 3 Dragon Support threads that I have seen, two are locked.

And, they'll forward the nice loveletter to SpyroWish.
Okay, serious now.
But I thought if you get banned, you also ban his/her/its IP address? How did you know it was him if he gone through a proxy? I am thinking of setting up my own proxy, am I at risk of accidental bans too? More specifically, I'm going to start a TOR bridge on my basement microserver. It may help me get around the stupid school blocking policy that restricts me from where can I get my researches...
