Re: The Windows Vista

As soon as I can, I'll post a link that has a text document, explaining all the faults in said OS. There's a HUGE amount of problems with that OS... I prefer to run Windows 3.11 for Workgroups. x.x

I had Vista set up today, and I'm using it now. I like it. It's a lot different though.

Re: The Windows Vista

I'm gonna try Vista, but my graphic card can't handle the Aero Glass effects... Also I'm buying more 512 mb of ram.
Yes, the Windows XP is good... BUT they will stop supporting it, you know. As you know, Windows XP DOESN't support DirectX 10 (besides you need a Geforce from the 8 serie, I think it's about 700€, and with this money I would buy a PS3 and 2 or 3 games!!!!!)
The PC games are "crap"... now, games developers "ask" for a godlike pc, and nobody can buy a godlike pc. The only game I play in the computer it's Unreal Tournament and I play it online.
My PS2 is awsome for games; and I will get a PS3 in a year or two.

P.S. Hey Zekira, what's up with your pc?

Re: The Windows Vista

A recent news report said that because of Vista's large security, it's hard to download certain games. I'll probably hold off until I get my new laptop (my old one has seen its day) in the fall.

Re: The Windows Vista

I honestly don't see what people think is so bad about it. It's nothing that special, but I don't hate it like some people seem to.

Re: The Windows Vista

People hate it because of what they did to it. Now, windows xp will get no support (Not that i have ever used any of their tech support). Vista is simply too much of a copy of mac os x.

Like Vista? BUY A MAC!

Re: The Windows Vista

I have a Macbook, but due to certain problems with files I uploaded, my Macbook isn't good for anything other than doing work on Microsoft Office. I am getting a new laptop, so I think I'll chose a Dell this time.

Any suggestions?
