Re: Waiting on the world to change
I wait a change to natural disasters because there is lots of them. 1 of them is that in 1960's Russians took from Atlantic Ocean some 2 meters wide crabs into 1 northern lake in Russia. (They wanted to grow them to make food from those crabs. Or something else. I don't remember that well.) But those crabs didn't have natural enemies, so those crabs's population kept growing and now they rule that lake. They eat all plants and fishes what comes to them. And those crabs gets someday into ocean unless someone stops them.

Re: Waiting on the world to change
Yeah. Thats why some of us wants to become a dragon or something else. Nothing what will make natural disasters. Everything changes time after time.
Everything is possible, so we'll see what comes in the future.

Re: Waiting on the world to change
Before there is peace, blood will spill blood, and the battlegrounds will run red.
The world has to change before Mother Nature gets her revenge and it shall be merciless.
Me and all my friends
We're all misunderstood
They say we stand for nothing and
There's no way we ever could
Now we see everything that's going wrong
With the world and those who lead it
We just feel like we don't have the means
To rise above and beat it
So we keep waiting
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting
Waiting on the world to change
It's hard to beat the system
When we're standing at a distance
So we keep waiting
Waiting on the world to change
Now if we had the power
To bring our neighbors home from war
They would have never missed a Christmas
No more ribbons on their door
And when you trust your television
What you get is what you got
Cause when they own the information, oh
They can bend it all they want
That's why we're waiting
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting
Waiting on the world to change
It's not that we don't care,
We just know that the fight ain't fair
So we keep on waiting
Waiting on the world to change
And we're still waiting
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting waiting on the world to change
One day our generation
Is gonna rule the population
So we keep on waiting
Waiting on the world to change
We keep on waiting
Waiting on the world to change
It's me Gian style!^^

Yeah, if the world keeps going downhill, we may have a situation of something similar to Resident Evil or I am Legend.

Re: Waiting on the world to change
It's now our job to stop the pollution of blood-spilling.
(every night, i stay awake
I find my reflection
And every night, i rethink my past mistakes
I dream, of absolution)
In the nightlife, do you see what you dream?
All your travels, are they of what they seem?
Look around you, then you may realize
All the creatures saw with the light
And i might know of a future
But then you still control the past
Only you know if we'll be together
Only you know if we shall last.
(in the nightlife)
In the nightlife, do you still feel your pain
Or the valor you waited never came?
If you were evil, would you go change the past?
And a faux paux with one last chance.
And i might know of a future
But then you'd still control the past
Only you know if we'll be together
Tonight.
'cause every night i will save your life
And every night i will be with you
'cause every night i still lay awake
And i dream of an absolution
'cause every night i will make it right
And every night i will come to you
But every night it just stays the same
In my dream of an absolution
(in the nightlife)
In the nightlife, do you see what you dream?
All your triumph and all you'll ever be
Look around you, then you may realize
Happiness lies trapped in misery
And who knows what of a future
We can all try to change the past
Only you know if we'll be together.
Tonight.
'cause every night i will save your life
And every night i will be with you
'cause every night i still lay awake
And i dream of an absolution
'cause every night i will make it right
And every night i will come to you
But every night it just stays the same
In my dream of an absolution
[instrumental]
'cause every night i will save your life
And every night i will be with you
'cause every night i still lay awake
And i dream of an absolution
'cause every night i will make it right
And every night i will come to you
But every night it just stays the same
In my dream of an absolution
(and you'll see)
(why you'll be)
(and you'll see)
(all you can know)
'cause every night (every night)
And every night (every night)
And every night (night)
I will dream (i will dream)
And you'll see
That this is my dream
(and you'll see)
That every night, i will always dream
And every night
And every night
And every night
I will dream...
All we need an absolution.

Re: Waiting on the world to change
The world won't change unless someone or some organization puts its foot down a makes drastic changes to the world. Unfortunately, one of the only few ways of solving so many world problems is literally by cutting the Human population down by at least 1/3. That's around 2 billion extra people that we don't need. 90% of our problems are due to overpopulation, because it results in more food being needed, more water, more space, more land being destroyed to fill that ever-growing well that is more Humans. Population needs to be regulated. How can this be solved? World War III, anyone?

Re: Waiting on the world to change
WWIII is the last thing we need
Too many faces have disappeared,
Dearly beloved people gone...
Too much hurt and pain,
We're just too young to see
All of our triumph go to waste.
How do we end this?
Stop the bloodshed?
It's up to us of course...
It's our next decision....
That's the truth....

WWIII....that will probly bring nucular winter. The human race seeks out power, and when they find it, they seek to use it. The human race has become to adapt to living with lights and cars, and fast food resturants.

Re: Waiting on the world to change
People already have to much....Way way to much. Once nukers were founded power went off the charts. There is a teacher i have that has a fear that the world is going to over populate, which i think it might just happen. Haveing the nukes brings fear to the people, The more people scared the greater power that person has by scareing them with death.

Re: Waiting on the world to change
People look for power... When they find power they use it for bad. Like new energy source. Soon it will be charging bomb. We'll see what happends to the world. New powers mean
new weapons and new weapons means total disaster.

Re: Waiting on the world to change
Yeah... Take a look at this.
You know nuclear reactors? They power my electronics and possibly yours too.
When this "nuclear fission" was first discovered, you know what?
It was used to blow up Japan's two cities to dust.
After the war, they used it for good.
Hydrogen fueled cars? Well, before that it was used for hydrogen bombs.
Lead-acid batteries? (Used in emergency lights, some car batteries) It was used to detonate a contact mine designed to sink a ship.
Fireworks? Before that people use it to make nasty rockets.

Re: Waiting on the world to change
Yeah and many Islamites are terrorists because they want to revenge something what happened to Abraham over 2000 years ago! Thats what I've heard.
And Doppel... There is also Atomic power what was first used in Atomic Bombs. Afterwards there is atomic power plants.
New powers people have discovered have been always more dangerous. Chernobyl is one example.
So many people die for nothing everyday...

I personally wouldn't worry about overpopulation at this time and age. While the world has about 6 billion-ish people, with current technology Earth could easily sustain double or even triple this population. Even more if all humans decided to become vegans. I like meat too much though myself.
It isn't that the world is overpopulated, but that it's underdeveloped.
I agree with the thread that the world is in a pretty dire situation, but when was the last time that humans was in a stable condition? War, famine, disease..all this has plagued us since the beginning of mankind. It will most likely stay with us until the last one of us dies. The saying "There cannot be peace without war" is very true. One cannot exist without the other and we have to accept that war is an inevitability. Wow I'm getting depressed writing this ![]()

Re: Waiting on the world to change
Mm, I agree with Zook. Overpopulation shouldn't be our main concern right now.
And yeah, WW3 would definitely not be good. That would be some major nukefest. Basically, blow up as many cities as you can.
Let's just hope that crazy Russian guy running for power in Russia won't be elected president ... He's telling people if he gets voted into power, he'll attack the US and take back Alaska.
Russians ...
