I found the ULTIMATE FIX to get around the quoting bug! A solution once and for all.
This is a test quote
Testing... Testing...
GASP! It finally works! Bug me not!
Whoa! I managed to get around the quoting bug! Yay... Lucky me.

Just disable the HTML thing that nobody uses... Got it?

(Sorry for the double post, admins, just testing this another way...)
You can opt for a "perma-fix" by opening up your profile and doing this...

And, yup... That automatically ticks off that box each and everytime you post... FOREVER!. Now "Disable HTML" will be on and stay on and we can quit bugging SpyroRocks. ![]()

Favorite Pokemon of Whenever: Lucario, because the 3 newest episodes had one in them!

Nice find Doppel!!!
I have one question though. What else is affected when turning off the HTML radio button? Would posting links not work anymore or something?

Well, let me see...
EDIT: Nope... URL embeds still work!
If you disable BBCode... That will stop it.
EDIT 2: It's not like something can be affected by turning off the HTML. SpyroForum operates with BBCode, and HTML is only used to add special things I don't even see here. And if something *does* affect your post, it's easy to flick the switch temporarily for a single post, isn't it? ![]()

Good find. I'll still fix any quotes with errors in them.

Re: I found the ULTIMATE FIX to get around the quoting bug! A solution once and for all.
And, if you were wondering how I found this, I go to google.ca and punched in "phpbb quote not working" and pressed "I'm Feeling Lucky." And there is the solution, In plain view! Actually, this is the easy way to fix this. They say something about modding files and adding strings of code and that and that... I just skipped that and found the easy way.
P.S: I'll sticky this if I could... It's the fix! ![]()

Un-Stickied because this solution is not applicable anymore.
