Im just answering a few comments that either annoy me, or i just feel like answering.

1. "Everyone has there own opinions/well thats just your opinion"
: Deh! Odviously, what i say is my opinion, what you say is your opinion and no ones opinion is right.Guess what, i KNOW Everyone has there own opinion. Guys, i hate it when people say this because it is obvious and annoying.

2."TLOS is better than the originals because it has great characters, Story, Graphics and Music"
:Okay, Thats cool, but why did i buy my game? Uhhhh, to play it? TLOS's Characters are nice, The story is wonderful, the Graphics are Obviously improved and the music... well its orchestral but Copelands were Masterpieces.

3."In the originals, all you do is collect things, its sooooooo repetetive, if i just miss ONE gem i cant get through the game"
:Ever played Mario? Or any other platformers? Have you ever noticed that you collect things? Besides, The eggs and orbs in spyro 2 & 3 were mainly achieved by plaing minigames, not looking for things. What? Repetetive? Just look at TLOS. The "one gem" This was only evident in Spyro 1 (seeing sparx cant point to the gems), and that was just a prototype game so you cant blame that. Besides, its better than TLOS where once you beat the game, thats it.

4.Spyro X Cynder
:Not a specific post, but Spyro X cynder fanboys/girls REALLY get annoying at times. For a start, you KNOW there are so many Cynder fangirls, just look at the member list. Not to mention there are like 50 topics on the pairing and posts everywhere pushing that they will have a love relationship. I support the pairing and i KNOW its going to happen, but can you please stop posting and posting about it.

I'll have more responses later, but there you go for now.

I agree with you on every single thing you talked about, 100%. I am a big fan of the origanals too, and yes, the whole Spyro x Cynder thing can get annoying. No offence though to anyone who is into that :-P

I could play the origanals all day long and never get bored of them. I remember one day when I was sick and had to stay home from school I played the first three games and beat them, through out the corse of that day. Man, what a great day that was. I think I started at 8 in the morning and ended around 8 or 9 that night. I only stopped a few times to eat :-P

I fully agree with you on all you just said, ratchet! The originals are better and everyone who says they aren't claims it's because the story is too simple and all you do is collect. I play a game to uh...PLAY IT! I don't need to read a novel while playing a game. Collecting wasn't like I was in a big field searching and searching, their was quests and minigames. Yes TLoS has nice music and characters, but not very many characters at that. I prefer the original characters...Elora, Bentley, Moneybags, etc. The original games had music that was just as wonderful (even better) than TLoS. ...and again, story!? I'm not playing a game to read a book. I read a book to read a book and play a game to play a game. So I could care less how simple the story was in the originals, because that simply meant getting to the actual game that much sooner. The only thing that is repetitive is TLoS' - come upon enemy, kill enemy, progress to next enemy, repeat - formula over and over.

I don't hate TLoS but I'm not going to lie when I say I'd really would have preferred something else for Spyro these last few years.

I just hope after TLoS 3, we see a return to form for Spyro.

Hah, you definitely got me on 2-4. Mm, I also think it's funny how people will continuously rant about something yet still play the game in hopes of finding something else to rant about.
I definitely support Spyro X Cynder, but some people are so crazy over it. Honestly, we need to take that down a couple notches. wink

I dont play TLOS to rant about it, i play it to play it.

5. "Why dont you give TLOS a chance?"
I HAVE given TLOS a chance, otherwise i wouldn't of byed ANB and even though i hated ANB i wouldn't of bought TEN. I am also excited about TLOS 3 and the TLOS movie so saying i havn't given it a chance is wrong. On this matter, anyone who says that i only look on the bad side of TLOS is wrong too, i can see its faults and its goodies. Your just stereotypicly calling me a "TLOS hater" Which is kinda true, i dont like TLOS, but im not the kinda person who just goes "OMG, they fully stuffed spyro up, changed him and made the gameplay crap... AND HES ugly".

6. "Why Cant you accept change?"
I can accept it, but it doesn't mean i wont like it. Once again, if i couldn't accept TLOS i wouldn't have bought the games. Besides, the change in TLOS is so drastic that saying that its "slightly changed" is wrong itself. Everything about Spyro has been wiped except for a few things. Some say that Spyro was getting overused and old as a platformer, well... How about Mario? How is he still a platformer? Its just some developers like Eurocom who cant really make the change happen correctly.
Dragons ARE combat/ Fighting creatures, but that doesn't mean That Spyro has to be one. Spyro used to be unique, he had a special feel to him, but now hes just a Character in a simple combat engine. Some people like Shade105 like change, but i dont like it when its unneeded and for the worse like TLOS. Now the question is, "why am i complaining?". Because i DONT want Spyro to continue in the manner that he is now, maybe i should wait a few years...

I'm going to fault the first one. I find the opposite situation happening with me. I have to tell them that my opinion is my opinion, or they assume I'm generalising everyone into the statement. Even when the title says "What is YOUR OPINION of..."

As for numbers two and three, if they're making topics of their view, go right ahead and complain. But if they're saying it in response of something "E.g. the "What is your opinion of...", you don't really have a leg to stand on. No one is going to convince me that Sonic 3 is NOT rubbish, so attacking me for it won't do anything productive. Same with them and their Spyro views

Note: Consider that they may NOT like traditional paltformers. LoS is part combat, remember.
Note 2: My second-favourite game of all time is Sonic 2, in case you wish to ask.

Yes he did, not only was he a health meter but he colected gems and buzzed in Spyro 3. He was a very unique character. I believe that Sparx should of had more screen time, but the reason why they didn't was because they didn't want to have subtitles in cutscenes, and they didn't want Sparx to talk. I dont want Sparx to talk but i dont blame Eurocom for making him talk, personally his voice in AHT was the perfect voice for Sparx if he had one. If i made a Spyro game, Sparx would get more screen time, keep his buzzing but have subtitles, EVEN in Cutscenes. Having him as a sidekick was also OK, but Sparx really wasn't supposed to be that way though i strongly have nothing against it.

I've got one:

This is completely untrue. So if the new developers made another game staring a little pink-and-green-polka-dotted puffball and tried to pass it off as Spyro, would you still be a fan of the new games? Of course not. You'd probably want to go up to those developers and punch them in the face for wrecking your favorite video game series. This is exactly how I feel about these new games; they've completely ruined the concept of Spyro.

Yeah, the whole linear, combat thing just gets really old. The older games give you much more freedom.

Yeah, and the so-called "gameplay" is just button mashing, whereas you might have actually needed to think in the Insomniac days. >_>

Yeah.Its just ACTION after ACTION!I don't want to do that all the time!In the old ones you had to even find stuff to get to where you want to go.In the new ones its fight 100 enemies and you've go walk the rest of the dang long way.

THere were two reasons why his eyebrows were like that
1.The graphics werent advanced
2.Spyro was a comic character, so he was supposed to have cartoony aspects like that.
SAying that, Spyro was never supposed to be all about dragon magic and all this crap about him being the chosen one, it was supposed to be a fun and unique series which makes you happy. Spyro was never supposed to be epic and have that typical story about how the land is in jeopuardy....
