Re: Lunar Eclips

The moon! It is half-shadowed (where I live)!

is lunar when the Earth blocks the moon or the moon blocks the sun?

I think the earth blocks the sun or something. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunar_eclipse or http://www.mreclipse.com/Special/LEprimer.html

Re: Lunar Eclips

Ooh, now I really see the effects of the eclipse. You can still see the whole moon, but right now, 2/3rds of it is covered in a shadow and the other third is a lot brighter.

Re: Lunar Eclips

I spotted the eclipse. It was nice. Some parts where dim, the other was glowing. Oooh... I was also watching for this:

Mm, if you didn't see it, then it looks like you're going to have to wait till 2010.
