.....Thats like every one. I dont think their is much more to explane. I would have said every one in every spyro game. Just so there is a character for every one. The only person i think you forgot was Red.

Would Cynder transform into Dark Cynder (like Zelda transforming into Sheik, so I've heard (never actually played any of the Smash Bros. series)) or would Dark Cynder be her own character?

dragon protector x: Hmm, well I was purposely not going to put in bad guys. should we? Should we put in the villains? Mostly I tried to remain with the mainest of main characters (Toasty and the Alchemist are exceptions) if we included everyone we'd have over 500 characters!

Razz: About Gaul, see above, should there be villains? Dark Spyro and Dark Cynder would be like "costumes". In Smash Bros. characters take on alternate versions of themselves in battle, not a new character altogether.

I'd say we should include major villains (and I'm not just saying that because I'm a pitiable Gaul fangirl, though that is part of it big_smile ). SSB includes major villains like Wario and Ganon, so why shouldn't the Spyro version?

It is VERY unlikely that any spyro characters will be in it. Nintendo does not own the rights to the characters and the only two third party characters are Sonic and Snake.

To Lone: I know, I'm just trying to figure out which good guys should be in it, first, then bad guys later.

To DragonFireOKN: This is just for fun, I'm not expecting a game like this or for Spyro to be in Smash Bros.

It's pretty safe to say now that Spyro WILL NOT be in the game. The game has already been released in Japan, if anyone has noticed.
About Sonic and Snake: I think they were put in the game only because the developers constantly bugged Nintendo to put them in. Which is certainly not a bad thing. smile

And from that list Spyro, I'd choose Agent 9. Zap.

Actually not the case with Sonic. Sonic was the most requested character by the fans, thanks to Nintendo Power's little "April Fool's joke," of Sonic and Tails being in Melee. Who knows, maybe if Spyro's the most requested character by the fans, Nintendo might add him in too.

Anyways, I'd imagine Agent 9 being a character with a similar moveset to that of Starfox. It's probably the laser gun that makes me think that way.

I wouldn't alienate just Spyro for a SSB-style game. SSB is Nintendo, so Spyro should fight a Sony battle.

But what other Sony-originated franchises to include?

If something had to be done for fun, the least we can accept is characters that should be able to fight by themselves. And from what I've witnessed throughout the series, I could file it into this kind of setup -

- Spyro (because he's the main character, pure and simple)
- Sparx (providing he's played like in Spyro 3 he could be useful)
- Hunter (most obvious with the bow and arrow moves he has)
- Zoe (her zaps could make her opponents "lose a million braincells", so why not?)
- Greta (part of the duo fighting kids, and she's seen to be the most active to make her an active one straight away)
- Sheila (playable character in Spyro 3. We saw what she can do.)
- Sgt Byrd (see Sheila)
- Bentley (see Sheila; could throw in Bartholomew for final smash moves)
- Agent 9 (see Sheila; like with Bentley he could reflect to the Professor for a final smash)
- Bianca (a magic wielding rabbit could potentially be dangerous <3)
- Flame (unlockable skin in AHT = instant use)
- Ember (see Flame)
- Blink (while not the most necessary character in the set, his move range could prove himself to be useful in battle)
- Bandit (not a lot of people like him, I know, but if Ember's there then he HAS to be there too)
- Ignitus (the only guardian that can actively fight from what we've seen, hands down)
- Cynder (capable enough to make her own decisions, that makes her able enough to fight)

We could also look at some characters that we haven't seen actively fight but have contributed well to the series. I'd point at -

- Elora
- The Professor
- Trina
- Moneybags (his bantumweight boxing claim would make him a potential hidden character!!)
- Handel (the other half of the fighting kids, though he's often running off or getting captured)
- The other three Dragon Guardians - we haven't seen them actively fight but they could be worth something
- The Chronicler (seems to resort to non-violent means though but we can't be too careful)
- Mole-Yair (a consistent character throughout the Legend-arc set so far)
- Kane (wants to defend himself but doesn't appear much)
- Legend-arc Spyro (manipulated differently from standard-appearance-type due to his differing abilities, so there we go)

Villains can be towed in. According to the finished roster in Smash Bros Brawl there's about four in there, so it won't hurt to throw in:

- Gnasty Gnorc
- Ripto (not sure about Crush and Gulp tho)
- Red (definitely Red given that he was welcomed back to the Dragon Elders at the end of Shadow Legacy)
- The Sorceress
- Gaul
- Adult Cynder as a secret unlockable

And we can also throw in the obligatory...

- Sheep (the comic relief character!)

It may be a little weird, but I hope it all works out. Plus I can understand Neal's intentions on leaving out the villains in general due to seeing the Smash Bros tendancy to end up having bosses serve in an adventure mode to fight with (heard from word of mouth that Giga Bowser ended up being the final boss in Melee).
