Help with PS3 ethernet(wired)connection!!

I need EXTREME help with finding an Ethernet cable for PS3 and WTF am I suppose to do in setting up a connection!!I'd think if I can do this on a PC,I could do this on my PS3!!

No PC needed. I just used a standard ethernet cable. Disconnect my pc to modem cord, connect my ps3 to my broadband modem, went to browser and I was online.

As long as you have a phone line which has support for internet, and the cable, it is simple to do it.
