Best Game for the PS2

As much as I wish that I owned a nintendo platform, I don't. So, tell me your favourite games for the PS2.

Spyro games, of course, but other suggestions are welcome.

That can depend....If you like games like a interactive D&D, games like final fantasy, Games that take consentration like Wizardry, games that you sneek around in like Metal Gear Solid, games that you kill zombies like Resident evil, Raceing games like Chocabo Racing, i can keep going on and on...

There aren't many games that I have that are also for PS2. I'll vote for Tomb Raider, so far the best game I've played that is also a playstation title. I would also like to try out Shadow of the Collosus in the future, if I ever get the chance.

^ Yeah, I have both Legend and Anniversary, as well as all of the old Tomb Raider titles from the 90s/early 2000s. They're good games.

I just haven't played Chronicles,and the PC ones.Either than that I know all of it!It was sad in TR:Legend though.

<D I just got 4 new games for the Ps2. one is Spyro: a Heros tale....but that doesnt count on this thread. The other 3 are all the 3 Devil May Cry games. Those are really fun In #2 Dante runs on walls and does back flipps and shoots stuff... <D Pure fun. That is if you can handle things popping out of nowear attacking. Those games may not be for patents who may suffer from heart attacks...

Shadow of the Colossus is an amazing game. If you are a gamer who takes nothing out of a game but stupid fighting for no logical reason, it's not a good game.

Hmm, considering PS2 is a huge console still, it's tough. I'll list by genre's I guess.

RPG: Final Fantasy X, it's a good game to beginners and experts alike.
FPS: Metal Gear Solid is ok, but that's more of a FPS/TPS. Not many Good FPS games on the PS2.
RTS/Strategy: Best I have seen is a Yu-Gi-Oh! Games... heh.
Sports: Madden's
Racing: Gran Turismo's
Just good ol' fun: Any game.... basically, it's all in your interest... or your family members interest (if it's for them).
