Re: Tiny pic from the Spyro movie
If we're going to Christopher Paolini's house, I'll bring the matches. ![]()
I sort of saw all of this coming from the start, so I can't really get that riled up. Movies based on video games tend to suck (though I liked the first Tomb Raider film, except for the dumb love story part, and the Mario Bros. movie was awesome even if I am the only person on Earth who thinks so).

I haven't had time yet. Razz is an exhausted, employed art beast at present. I will try to get to it soon, though.

Re: Tiny pic from the Spyro movie
Yeah, the Eragon film was a mess compared to the book which I thought was brilliant. I know this is out of the conversation now, but... I LOVED THE SPYRO FILM PICTURE!!! And fan film or not I'll be the first one to get it... errr... PLEASE tell me it's not just an American thing... Will it be in England too? ![]()

Re: Tiny pic from the Spyro movie
Actually, no. I'm saying that authors don't have control over their property when it is given over to Hollywood. But Paolini did like the film, which says a lot about his taste. Also, I have been saying that I loathe Paolini, because I do. A lot. ![]()

Re: Tiny pic from the Spyro movie
I can spot bad CGI from miles off, and the only good thing about "Eragon" was the dragon...most of the time. You could still tell she wasn't real, but that was mostly the actor's fault.

Well The Eternal Night and A New Begining were supposed to bring spyro back from the unknown, but i think this movie will kill all hope of that revival.....

Of course it will flop.
I've already told my friends that at least I'll get an entire theatre to myself when I go to see it. :*bleep*in:
But really, how many video games gone movie do you know that have been successful?
Besides the ones that are riddled with zombie carnage. ![]()
