Virus
It seems as if Avast! anti virus thinks there is a virus in the cutscenes thread (http://www.spyroforum.com/topic-2376:cutscenes.html).
This is a false positive, there is [n]no virus on spyroforum[/b].
If you receive a virus warning, please send a email to your anti virus company and let them know they are picking up a false positive.

Re: Virus
It shouldn't. Spyrorocks scanned it with dozens of virus scanners, and only Avast! came up with anything.

Re: Virus
AVG detects nothing... and it auto-scans every page I pull up. =_=

Re: Virus
No, don't report it.
I know how Avast! works, because as of now it's the most trusted anti-virus, beating out even the paid anti-viruses.
Avast! is oversensitive about the coding in a certain file, that even if the first few strings are familiar to its database, then it will detect it as one. It is then up to the user to manipulate the file.
If you're mature enough you'll know which is a virus and which is not.

Re: Virus
For about an hour, Avast was detecting viruses all over this forum the night it did it, but it has since ceased detecting viruses.

I know how virus scanners work.
Yes, do report it. False positives are a pain in the butt, and they should take care of it. I am not responsible for a virus scanner picking up malware when there is in fact no malware.
I personally use avast at home, but not on the PC I regularly use.
Also, not everyone knows computers. If a virus warning pops up, the average user will suspect there is a virus.
