A big problem!

Hello there,
First things first, i have a question, i tried to play Spyro: Eternal Night on my Playstation 3, and its for Playstation 2, that shouldn't be a problem, because Worms 3D works as well, but when i start up, the whole intro-screen is gone!

How do i get rid of this?  sad

Re: A big problem!

What version is it? The 60gb is meant to have full compatibility with ps2 games, the 80gb and 20gb has most but limited capability.

Re: A big problem!

read second half of above answer. I think TEN doesn't work on PS3. You got the original box for the console?

It should say what version it is on it.

Re: A big problem!

I have a 60gb PS3 and Spyro TEN runs very well. When did you get the console? If it was in November, it couldn't be a 60gb because Sony wasn't shipping any more.

Re: A big problem!

I asked someone at EB games (gaming store) and asked if the 40gb can play ps1 games. They said no but only through software emulation.
Is this true?

Re: A big problem!

That won't work, you have to save on internal memory on a PS3; memory cards won't work.
Still, if you're European by some chance you'll need to check the latest software updates and see if the game is on the list.
Does the game work fine beyond that hiccup though?

Re: A big problem!

You can get a memory card adapter at Wal-Mart/etc.You can play PS2 games only for the ones above 40GB.Also I think online PS2 games don't work?
