I was wondering who's starring Cynder?

Well her adult form is played by Cree Summer, and baby cynder is played by Mae Whitman

Cynder in both forms was voiced by Cree Summer in ANB.

In TEN, both forms of her are voiced by Mae Whitman.

Yeah, they decided to replace Cree Summer with Mae Whitman for Cynder because they felt she wasn't playing the role with much emotion in ANB. But that's kind of a good thing, since as an adult, she wasn't very emotional.

I figured it was just because Cree wasn't available. I thought she did a great job as Cynder (she really got the menace factor through nicely) and I kind of miss her.

I'm pretty sure they replaced Davide Spade because he sounded bored, though. big_smile There were so many complaints about his performance.

DId you know Mae Whitman is the same voice as rose in AD:JL i think bot chars have a huge connection

No, I didn't. Learn something new everyday. I liked that show, one of my favorites. I can't believe they cancelled it after only 2 seasons.

What's AD:JL stand for? Mae is most famous these days for voicing Katara on "Avatar: the Last Airbender". It's at least where I know her from.

Really? I thought it had a good run, the usual 65 episodes Disney allotts all its shows (except the truly brilliant "Dave the Barbarian", which only got 22). Wikipedia says the show got 52 episodes, which is actually a really good run for a series.

*cringe* I can't stomach that show. I caught one episode that was utterly repulsive (it dealt with people in wheelchairs and completely misrepresented the disabled). Granted, I've grown to hate sitcoms over the years, so that doesn't help. big_smile

My favorite Disney cartoons are the older ones (the Aladdin animated series, Hercules animated series, and Gargoyles), and, of course, "Dave the Barbarian". That show is hysterical and I really wish it had been given a better chance.

Honestly I did think she acted the part fairly well ....

And that laugh that she has, then snaps her head up looks at Spyro and says "Bring it" she's a great actress

Her voice all up is quite suited to her (Cynder)
