Let's be serious for a sec and:

The way I started with Discord was bad enough that it would've drove me back to Skype or forums or whatever, even if it's IRC or being online 24/7 on a Minecraft server. Eventually, there's this new thing called Discord "Nitro" which is literally "pay us MONTHLY to get features that Telegram users are getting better versions of for free" (except animated avatars, but there's no premium tier in Telegram at all). And here I thought "ugh, fine!"

Then Hammer and Chisel or OpenFeint or Discord Inc or whatever you wanna call them decided that being Spyro 2 Moneybags was not good enough, that Spyro 3 Moneybags is the benchmark that they need to hit. So they put a gift button in the chatbox so that you can gift Nitro to friends from the convenience of your chat box and not because they're being obnoxious about it and decided that servers can be "boosted" with Nitro which means that if you convince at most twenty members to pay for Nitro and THEN boost the server, you'll get special features no ordinary server gets. Basically, they don't want you to pay upfront, they want you to get twenty guys to pay them separately on your behalf.

To top it all off, it takes ages to update the desktop client, which you can't force not to auto-update, it'll always find a way to override your will. The only place where you can get away with not auto-updating Discord is on Android, and I wish it stayed like that, minus all the Nitro crap of course. I wish, because all my friends are on it right now and how am I going to not use it if all my important stuff is on there aieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ripto

my problem with cats is how the majority of them behave so terribly. they knock stuff over, scratch people, destroy furniture...

and a lot of cat people seem to enjoy it.

i don't understand that.

there are well-behaved cats and i love them. my neighbor has cats and they're wonderful. but so many of them just.............................. hmm

Cats are trouble. Yes they need to be trained at times but they make life worth it.

Yes they can cause destruction but their great just the way I see it.

i like the idea of a desert. i'm really introverted so the idea of being surrounded by a bunch of quietness, and sand / pretty much empty space, is pretty nice to me tongue but with the extreme temperatures, i don't know how long i could be in one.
