He's a Youtuber. I've heard his name and I know what he looks like, but I've never seen one of his videos. I think he does gaming videos.

oh yeah i don't know his channel very well either. i just hear his name a lot. i have seen a few videos. they're interesting. not enough to really sub to his channel or anything, but eh. if you're bored, there are worse channels to watch smile

Seems like an okay guy so m best to him meant no offense. But I'm good I'll watch what I watch usually always enjoy that stuff anyway. Besides your right watching paint dry, or a fish swimming around is probably better then half the stuff on Youtube nowadays. All the best to those people though no disrespect!

I only really know Markiplier from what I've experienced from the people I live with watching him. They like to watch his streams REALLY loud, so I can't stand his voice. Like, loud enough to be heard in the entire house. I'm sure he's not a bad guy, but hearing him say random things while playing games while I'm trying to get some peace and quiet is a bad experience.

I'd also honestly rather play video games as opposed to watch someone play them. It's like watching someone play a sport. I'm the kind of person who'd rather go do the sport.

i probably wouldn't mind a lot of TV stuff either if it wasn't always blaring. i live with old people, one of whom especially is... QUITE addicted to TV, and i'm ALWAYS hearing these shows i can't stand, these agonizingly unfunny commercials over and over, etc. so i can definitely sympathize there.

but about playing games, it depends. i think watching people play them can be a good way to get a feel of the games. sometimes it'll inspire me to check out the game itself. other times it can be fun to watch someone else play the game if they have something funny or interesting to contribute (thus, adding something more than "just playing the game"). Markiplier would be an example of "adding comedy to a video". a couple examples, in a non-comedic context, are Shesez and Lance McDonald. they both focus on cut content, things hidden in game files, sometimes restoring broken/incomplete game features, etc. smile

different sections award different amounts of gems for posting in them, i don't know most of the amounts though

Forum Games takes away 1 gem per post
SPAM takes away 2 gems per post

all other sections (unless i'm forgetting one) give a certain amount. smile
