and right around the same time Roblox apparently banned PewDiePie when he didn't do anything wrong on their site, and not only that, but banned people for even mentioning him. AND Twitch permanently banned someone ("allegedly", i guess we don't have the full details yet) for simply making the argument that "there are only two genders", saying it's "HATE SPEECH".

the whole world is going weird.

So what is the situation with discord exactly? All I could find was that they just decided to ban... erm... certain explicit furry images where before they made exceptions for when the "subjects" didn't look an arbitrary level of humanoid.

human [certain images] were banned, meanwhile furry [same type of images] were deemed perfectly fine. although they've changed their policy on this now, and all images like that are banned.

they also let "certain people/activities" bypass the rules by dismissing reports about them as "mass flagging".

they also banned a popular YouTuber named Quackity for what appears to be simply making a disparaging video about furries on Discord. other allegations went around involving the staff being biased in favor of furries, going easier on furries, and being harsher on anyone even accused of saying anything bad about them.

PewDiePie has been involved in controversy before for racist and other comments in the past. It lead to brands not wanting to associate with him or stuff with him, but honestly PewdiePie is one of the most, funniest, and happy-go-lucky dudes out there don't believe he ever meant anything he said, he's one of the only good people on Youtube too. So don't know what that's about.

Doubt he cares but eh hopefully this is resolved.

i doubt he actually cares that he was banned from Roblox, but it still sucks that they would do that. and especially that they'd take it out on other people too, by banning them just for saying his name. hmm

I wouldn't worry hope it all turns for the best my best to everyone affected hope it all turns out for the best. Know that probably dosen't mean much but honestly all it turns out okay.
