if you think about it, Spyro's already been dead a bunch of times, he just comes back yikes

which ALWAYS amazes me if you think about it: of course in video games, the main character dies a lot, depending on the game we might get extra lives, or a "game over" screen, etc, but in the story, the character you're playing goes through the entire game and survives without ever dying once. so following classic Spyro canon, according to the characters of the game, Spyro went through all of the levels, defeated Gnasty Gnorc, collected all 14 talismans and all 64 orbs, defeated Ripto, defeated the Sorceress, rescued all the dragon eggs, and defeated Ripto AGAIN in Enter the Dragonfly, all without dying a single time.

most of the jokes will go over a typical user's head. There’s also 36IStillLikeSpyro36's non-nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Ayumi_the_Dark_Wolf literature, for instance. Spyro fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike 36IStillLikeSpyro36 truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in 36's existential catchphrase “Starlight Glimmer is best pony,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Ziamber's Russian epic (Insert Friend) Dropped a Travel Brochure. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as 36IStillLikeSpyro36's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them. ?

And yes, by the way, i DO have a Spyro tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the ladies’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 36 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel kid ?
