Hi, I just registered today!
I'm a 50 year old mother of 5 and I love Spyro. I got hooked about 20 years ago and was recently reintroduced and my feelings haven't changed...I still get a thrill when I hear a gem getting gathered. I've only played this game...or more specifically the first three games. I'm not very good at all the levels but I always give them a few good tries before I hand the controller over to one of my sons...who never play this game otherwise. This Christmas my middle sons girlfriend made me a cute little Spyro out of clay and set him on a pile of blue gems. It's nice to be here with fellow fans. I hope I can stop by and chat every once in a while.

Hey hey!! I'm Krys, it's nice to meet you all. Like probably most of you, I grew up with the original trilogy, the third game having been my very first console game too, actually. The trilogy has been my favorite since it came out, and I still play it to this day. In fact, I'm in the process of beating the second and third games right now, for the millionth time lol.

I love the aesthetics of the games so much, they're so colorful and quirky. Low poly games were always super fun for me. Something about the cartoony style just makes me nostalgic too. I've played nearly all the games, and would like to own the rest at some point, but for now, my heart just simply belongs to the classic 3.

Let's see, a little bit about me, I'm 23 years old, I use he/him pronouns and my first language is Spanish c: I like to doodle here and there, and spend a lot of my time online, lol. A bit of a shut in, whoOPS. But I work from home [as an artist], so there's not much for me to do outside, at least not until I've moved out.

But anyways-- super excited to be here!! Also, I think I've stumbled upon this site before in the past too, so a note to the staff; if there's an account with the same IP, please delete it!! Apologies in advance, lol.

P.S. I'm assuming I need to post around before I'm able to post links and images on my siggie? If it's been said, I probably missed it, lol.

P.S. #2 How do I get my avatar to be biGGER bETTER like some of the ones I'm seeing around?

Yep, how it works is members are automatically placed in the "new members" user group until 10 posts. This group has restrictions on images and links as a way to deter spambots. Sorry it's kind of annoying!

The maximum avatar size is 110x110. If some people's are slightly bigger, it's probably because they were imported from the old forum software that allowed bigger ones.

Hello all. My name is FrivolousDragon but please feel free to call me "Remy" as that's the alias I typically go by.

Despite me being 21 years old I've only become fond of the Spyro franchise in the last couple of years. I mostly grew up with Nintendo so I never got to experience the games much. It was when I bought a PS2 in 2015 that I fell in love with this cute purple dragon. Better late than never I guess. tongue

Of course I enjoy the original trilogy the most, followed by The Legend of Spyro trilogy. I own copies of all the games except the handheld ones. On the internet side of things I always love the fanart and fanfiction, something I hope to contribute more to.

I also have a youtube channel "TheFrivolousDragon", dedicated to the The Legend of Spyro. It has the cutscenes from all three games which I recorded myself from a fancy capture card and uploaded individually so they're all in great quality, as well as the soundtracks among other things, plus a couple of fan made videos of mine, which I hope to make more of.

Anyway. I'm glad I stumbled across this forum. I shall do my best to contribute here. It'll be nice meeting you all~ smile
