Twingo liked to eat sunflower seeds. one day, he ran out of sunflower seeds and resolved to go purchase some more. Twingo went to the grocery store and went to where the sunflower seeds usually were, but the employees had moved the items around, and instead, there was a selection of coffee on the shelf instead. Twingo tried to keep calm, as he broke into a sweat and began to visibly shake, his eyes staring ahead with anxiety.

"can i help you, sir?" an employee kindly asked.

Twingo turned around and, not missing a beat, shouted at the employee, "Eruptor is a hot head with a strong dislike for anything evil, so whenever something bad threatens his world, he quickly erupts... quite literally. When he isn't getting angry at the forces of Kaos, he's blowing a fuse and exploding with rage about smaller things, such as creaky floorboards and people not covering their mouths when they cough. a bit taken aback, the employee replied, "well, uh, Eruptor or whatever you said your name was, can i help you with anything today?"

Twingo then explained that his name was not Eruptor, but rather, Twingo, and that he was simply looking for sunflower seeds. the employee proceeded to take Twingo to where they had moved the sunflower seeds. Twingo got as many bags as he could carry and went to pay. however, before he could pay, a store manager walked up to him with some police.

"what's going on?" Twingo asked, confused.

"you're a wonderful customer, but we can't have you yelling at our employees like this," the manager explained, "so we're going to take you to therapy."

Twingo resisted. "I DON'T NEED THERAPY The residents of Skylands had never seen lava creatures before and many misunderstandings followed [source] I JUST NEED SUNFLOWER SEEDS"

nevertheless, the authorities took Twingo to a nearby therapist.

Twingo and the therapist talked for a long time about sunflower seeds, love interests, school, and Twingo's lifelong dream of becoming an interpretive dancer. you see, Twingo's parents never supported his dream, and instead wanted him to follow in his dad's footsteps and carry on the family gas station business, but Twingo was more artistic than that. Twingo didn't want to sell gas and overpriced bags of potato chips or phone charging cables, Twingo wanted to dance. Twingo felt a lot better about things, but the therapist gave him an assignment to work on until their next meeting: admit his addiction to sunflower seeds. the first way to tackle this was for Twingo to make a public post on SpyroForum admitting his addiction.

he made a thread called "ALRIGHT ALRIGHT I ADMIT IT".

Paranoia was a brony.

like a REALLY REALLY BIG brony. there was hardly an inch of space on his bedroom walls that wasn't covered by MLP posters. his desktop wallpaper was a Rainbow Dash wallpaper. he loved to submit art from his favorite brony artists to Equestria Daily's drawfriend posts. Paranoia was a regular contributor to Pony Spam #2 on SpyroForum, regularly sharing memes and fan art. Paranoia's favorite character was Minty. he spent hours, literal hours each day thinking about Minty. so one night, having to move his multiple pony plushies aside, Paranoia got into bed (MLP pajamas and all) and went to sleep, finding himself in a dream. he was in an unfamiliar house in, where else, Ponyville. from the living room, where he was standing, he could see out into the kitchen, where he saw ... Minty!

"Minty!" Paranoia squealed with glee, arms open as he went to greet her.

but when she turned around, she looked ... angry?!

"what do you want?" Minty asked.

"wh... what?" Paranoia replied, confused.

"don't talk to me like that. you know what you did!" Minty said, annoyed.

"i didn't do anything! i just got here!" Paranoia said, his heart breaking.

suddenly Minty walked over to a nearby countertop and got out a jar. in the jar were a bunch of pretzels. she began angrily eating one as they continued talking.

"you know what you did, Paranoia, and i'm very disappointed in you!" Minty said, even angrier.

"MINTY WHY ARE YOU SO SALTY" Paranoia yelled.

Paranoia woke up confused. he continued to enjoy his favorite snack: salt-flavored mints with pretzels. but for a few days following the dream, he couldn't help but associate the food with the weird dream he had.

the end.

the thought of mint and salt is still slightly more disgusting than thinking of myself being described as liking the Big Bang Theory, but not by much.
