Re: Nintendo Switch

Dang it Ranger I'm so sorry I posted something about it too can someone close mine? Anyway I do like the The Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo Switch Dock and Joy Con Controllers the games all do look great and power and third parties are on onboard so very encouraging. So Overall I like it.

New Super Mario looks good I do hope there is a new Super Smash Bros. and a new Donkey Kong Country with King K. Rool and the Kremlings returning as the main antagonists. Beyond that Mario Kart and Splatoon could be ports but we'll find out soon enough.

So good job Nintendo I like Nintendo Switch and all it has to offer so my applause goes to you Nintendo you knocked it out of the park.

Lastly don't worry Ranger The Nintendo Wii U despite it's faults is a true gem of a system I hope you enjoy it and one day when you have enough money again I hope you can get Nintendo Switch.

Re: Nintendo Switch

Ehh, if anything I'm just gonna sell the Wii U as soon as I finish Zelda Breath of the Wild and just take a break from Nintendo consoles for a while.

Aside from a very small handful of 1st party Nintendo games (Zelda, Fire Emblem, and any 3D Mario) every game series I care about is either on Steam or PS4 so I'll just stick with those (as soon as I have the spare change in my budget to fix my computer and buy a PS4 that is)

Re: Nintendo Switch

It looks like nintendo is finally focusing on having better hardware and better third party support, as they've teamed up with nvidia for the switch's hardware, and they have a hefty list of third party developers they're working with. Those are the two main gripes i've had about nintendo for a while, so it's nice to see them fixing that. Although, given their track record, I wouldn't be surprised if they managed to screw something up, so I'm remaining skeptical about it until more information comes out.

Re: Nintendo Switch

I was a bit dismissive when I was just skimming articles about this, but after actually watching the trailer it looks pretty neat. I'm assuming this will also take the place of the portable DS line, which would be fine with me.

I'm in the same boat as Flapjacks though. They need outside developer support for it to work (which they said they were getting with the Wii U on launch, if you remember...). I'm also skeptical about how powerful it will be comparatively to other consoles since everything is housed in the tablet. If it does end up being under-powered that'll definitely diminish the number of 3rd party games they get, and we might have another Wii/Wii U situation. Guess we'll wait and see

Re: Nintendo Switch

Hopefully it's at a reasonable price and has some good titles definetly just best to keep it eye on it for now after the while Nintendo Wii U fiasco best to approach the Nintendo Switch with caution I think.

Re: Nintendo Switch

It looks fun. But PS4 is gonna have the new Crash remake, so i'll likely go for a PS4. Besides i'll have a more stationary system to the TV and won't likely lose a controller that way.
