Frost: He's blacked out. This might make what I'm doing easier. I swore I'd never use this except for extreme occasions. The DM has a foothold in Illadin's mind.

"Astral Projection. Only to be used as a last resort and not in combat. It will allow me to go into his mind, where I'll be able to cut the DM off from him" Frost thought.

*She knelt onto the floor and closed her eyes, in a deep meditative trance*

"I'd better help Blaze up" Raikou thought.

*Raikou lifted the statue of Blaze up back to its original position before Illadin knocked onto the floor*

Frost: Release.

*Frost's soul left her body, heading towards Illadin, hoping to help free him from the DM*

Vulcan:*to himself*i'm geting tyred of that combat...i can beat them by separate...but the two at the same time...its a good challenge;hiyaaaaa!*punch John face before tempest kick his back*...darn!...*jump and grab John from his tail and threw him to a wall, DarkJohn gets knocked out at last*...phew!...one to go!

*Raikou heads outside the room, although staying close enough to protect Frost's body and Blaze*

Raikou: Hang on Vulcan.

"Tempest likes to fly. If I can shock his wings, and prevent him from flying, he'll lose his advantage" Raikou thought.

*Raikou shot a storm of lightning bolts across the hall, knowing that Tempest would have to be quick if he wanted to dodge all of them, and there's about 50 of them*

Raikou: I'm sorry Vulcan, but I can't come too far. I need to protect Blaze and Frost. She used her astral projection power to get into Illadin's mind to try and free him from the DM's control. The DM decided that if he can' have Blaze's transformations, then Blaze must die. He tried getting Illadin to smash the statue.

Vulcan:*punch the ground*ok...i will help you protecting them...but first...*walks over John*...i have to finish a work...cover me...*a dark aura envolves John, but sudden another of bright orange color surround the dark and makes it vanish*...so easy when knocked out...*takes John now where is Blaze...*start walking to the room*, *smiles*the DM wants me too, but i don't let him have a chance to do that...if he manage to control me...well better run or you will know why my name is Vulcan...its no funny

Raikou: He's right in here. His sacrifice turned him to stone. That's why Illadin attacked Blaze when he was a statue. Luckily Frost thought ahead and put a shield spell on Blaze. That way, if anything tries to attack him, they'll just be repelled back. It's not foolproof though. A large enough shockwave or vibration could send him toppling over. Frost used her astral projection power to send her soul to enter Illadin's mind. She's trying to free him from the DM's control, but her body's vulnerable.

Raikou: You know, I just thought of something. A soul can only be bound to a body that's living. If Blaze's body's been turned to stone, that means his soul can wander anywhere. Looks like we'll need someone else to go find the sorceress and get her spell book. If Frost's soul is in Illadin, trying to save him, and we're here to protect Frost and Blaze, who's going after the book?

Raikou: Except for the fact that Cynder thinks she's a monster and ran away. The DM isn't stupid. Wait, if Cynder's alone, she's vulnerable. Friends are your greatest defense, and if she isn't near her friends... that can't be good.

IC:

DT: *busts through another wall that leads into the room Blaze's statue is and the DM gives his shadow possesser the order to destroy Blaze, he pulls one of his paws up for a killing downward slash, and he brings the paw down, but it stops in mid air and starts trembling like 2 forces are acting on it*

Raikou: Nice try, DarkTempest. There's a powerful shield spell on the statue. In fact, you should be thrown back in about... 3 seconds.

*DarkTempest gets thrown back*

Raikou: You'll have to do better than that.

*Thrusts his arms forward, emitting a fan of lightning aimed at DarkTempest*

Vulcan:here i go again...another aura cleaning!...hang on Tempest!...*Vulcan concetrates all his energy and focus on Tempest, then a great dark aura surround tempest's body and another one of orange color surround it, but the orange is thiner than the dark*...Tempest hear me!...i will make him more weak, but its you who have to fight...do it for all the things that you apreciate!...do it for making the DM know what is the power of the friendship! do it Tempest!

*Raikou starts channeling the energy of lightning into his body, about 3/4 of the energy needed for an expulsion spell, just in case Tempest can't fight the DM*

Raikou (whispers): Vulcan, in case he can't fight the DM, get your energy ready, I have 3/4 of the energy needed to cast an expulsion spell. We'll have to cast the spell together if we want it to work.
