I saw Ratchet and Clank in the theater yesterday
It was pretty good! They definitely changed a lot from the original story in the games, but none of the new stuff was bad. I'd recommend going to see it if you're a fan of the series.
Anyone else seen it? What did you think?

Re: I saw Ratchet and Clank in the theater yesterday
I want to see it, but it hasn't appeared in Finnish theaters yet. Either its a risk movie and won't come at all or it will have a delayed premiere. Both are pretty common.

I haven't seen it, but probably won't because I didn't really play the game that much.
I have changed my username from Justin Long Fanatic to EricChristianOlsenFanatic, so Justin Long Fanatic is my old name on this site, and EricChristianOlsenFanatic is my new one.

Re: I saw Ratchet and Clank in the theater yesterday
I've seen mixed reviews, but I'm glad to see you liked it as a fan of the series. I hate going to theaters alone and no one else is going to want to watch Ratchet and Clank with me, so it might be a while before I see it ![]()

Re: I saw Ratchet and Clank in the theater yesterday
I was planning on it I actually like the series even if I've only seen two games. But not anymore I just don't feel like it. Glad you guys enjoyed it though.

I've heard it re-uses cutscenes from the video game, but at least one can say that it's probably (or definately) the best game-movie adaptation out there ![]()

Good response, made me chuckle!
Yeah, it was a little screening Insomniac held in Burbank near their HQ for the fans to attend. I wasn't expecting James and David to show up, but they were fun to talk to. I legitimately got to talk to James for a good 15 minutes, he's pretty much Ratchet IRL. Very nice and professional voice actor, I talked to him about the voice over industry and such.
I didn't have much to say to Ted Price, other than I let him know that his company is my favorite game studio and his games inspired me to become a better person and influenced me heavily as an artist. He is pretty much like you'd expect him to be in person, very humble and cool.

Glossed over that before, that's pretty awesome. I didn't realize Ted Price was a founder of Insomniac
