i'm not even a fan of Warriors / Warrior Cats, but almost every single piece of artwork i see of it on DeviantArt involves someone dying. is the Warriors series really that emotional??

There's a lot of death and violence in it for a kids' series.

It was not unusual, aslong as it didn't have blood, gore or anything inappropriate then you could basically put any types of scary stuff in it, which was in the past show or games that was for children in general, atleast the age or target audience if one would call it that. Its just that the 21st century generation have more or less been much more aware and are softening it really hard to say the least. Zelda Ocarina of Time just to mention some example had originally red blood, someone told Nintendo. Look, if you wanna be "E" for everyone then you gotta censor it. So vomit aka green blood was added for censorship.

One thing i remember having nightmares about was this hand falling from the ceiling and grabbing you tongue
