Off-topic, but I heard about AGDQ though Stepmania, actually. The guy who was playing (keyboard, unfortunately) got noticed enough for Stepmania to be "trending" on Facebook the other day.

I suppose my wording was a bit confusing; AGDQ was a week-long event that featured a ton of games...Spyro only had one slot 
The entire event raised 1.2 million.

He contributed to the event regardless of one slot. Spyro was featured and helped raised money for a good cause that's better then anything. Congrats Spyro!
