Re: The Legend of Spyro - New Adventures [OOC Thread]

Yeah, for now, there's no post order since this is gathering all the right people in the right place. Until the first mission actually gets assigned, reply when something that affects you or involves you.

Re: The Legend of Spyro - New Adventures [OOC Thread]

This would slow down the RP, wouldn't it?

Re: The Legend of Spyro - New Adventures [OOC Thread]

A little but everyone would get to post equally and not get left out. I'm not looking for speed here, I want quality.

Re: The Legend of Spyro - New Adventures [OOC Thread]

Its easier using a dice system to dictate the way combat and interactions go but in a rp with such system, players tend to assume that their character will always be on top. As the GM, I have to provide a challenge.

Re: The Legend of Spyro - New Adventures [OOC Thread]

I'm fine with Torika really I am. It's just I wanna feel like I'm controlling my characters. You know? The dice system's fine and it can be implemented. But let us control are characters too. Otherwise it just feels like there's no point in us helping with the RP you know? But how about the dice system is implemented. And we have are characters being used by us sound good? The dice system will be there, and no one should come out on too easy in the battles. But let us control are characters for the majority sound good?

Re: The Legend of Spyro - New Adventures [OOC Thread]

All I'm doing is directing an npc and stating what he does, I'm not saying what happens to the character that gets affected by said npc, That's upto you to decide.

Example: Character A hits character B with a sword on his right arm. Character B winces as the sword cuts into his arm and recoils to the left before striking character A with his axe.

Character B could have responded in any way that would have made sense with the action of character A attacking with a sword swing to his arm. He could have jumped out of the way, blocked with his axe, he could have even tried to lunge forward to stagger the attacker.

If your referring to my direction of where the characters should go, then that too is a suggestion. Its telling you what direction I would like you guys to go but you could have choses to continue to search the immediate area for something else.
