Re: General Discussion 5

So i saw the last episode of Legend of Korra. But i am not sure if Asami and Korra got together. I mean they held hands and was looking at each other before going to the portal. But i dont know if that counts as being ehem together together. Still it would be cool if it was smile
Edit: Although the creators said they where together. So i guess its canon : 3

Re: General Discussion 5

My day is off to a pretty bad start. First I cut my finger with a very sharp bread knife while trying to slice a bagel. Then my son spit milk up all over me, my computer chair, and the carpet. He spits up all the time, but this was like gallons compared to what he usually does. >_>

really sorry to hear you're having a bad day, Stormy. sad and yikes, i don't know if i've ever actually seen a "bread knife" before, i'm looking them up and these things look pretty nasty considering they're used to cut bread O.o

They are usually larger to cut it straight more easily. They also sometimes have ripples on the blade that makes it easier to cut through the crust when its tough (you can overcome this by making the knife sharper, which can then easily result in cutting your finger, just like I did a while ago tongue)

Re: General Discussion 5

Sorry Stormy, motherhood isn't easy all the time it seems. But I wish you the best. I'm sure it will get better.

So are neck of the woods got some attention from the smash community yesterday. It was an old picture from a fan game, of Rayman from Smash 4. It's fake but Etika World Network and some people on 4chan were discussing it. Would love if Rayman got in Smash he's unique and fun. So why not? We'll see. But pretty cool all the same.

Re: General Discussion 5

Finally getting some time to focus on Sm4sh. But can't wait till I play Splatoon again next year. Also found out there's a hacker in the game. Just great. Hope that's cleared up soon.

Re: General Discussion 5

Just recently got done attending a professional conference for work, which spanned a few days. It was a first for me, and I definitely learned a lot about job opportunities and new technologies in GIS, which was really cool. I also gave a presentation, which went surprisingly well, and I got good feedback, considering that I thought I was a terrible presenter. tongue

Just wanted to revive the General Discussion thread. I've been away for a while because of work, but I haven't forgot y'all <3

Thanks guys!

Unless you want a Geographic Information Science job in MN, then I don't think I can help much, Swaffy tongue But good luck on your search - I know how much it sucks (I've been trying to find a new job for the past few months so I can move out of this college town)

Re: General Discussion 5

For those who have me on Steam, I've been playin ARK since the past ... three or four days. lol

Sadly I came accross this poor guy yesterday:

I guess he was swimming in the water and tried to get out but kept slipping, then ran out of stamina and ended up drowning. The blood is simply the game's representation of a health bar (more blood, less health).

Re: General Discussion 5

There is a secret steam sale on, for those that don't know big_smile. There are a few Ubisoft games up for sale for a very low price (Far Cry 3, for example, is only around £5), but most are indie games. I got a Duke Nukem collection and also a "Theatre of War" collection that I tried out. I didn't really like the controls, tbh; they were largely unresponsive.

It was up actually weeks ago. I bought HOMM5 for 3 dollars, instead of 10. Praise Gaben.

Re: General Discussion 5

Zero's reign as the king of Sma4sh came to an end st the hands of Nairo this past weekend.  At MLG It was intense they threw back airs, Bairs, forward airs, fairs, f-smashes forward smashes and bouncing fishes and paralyer blasts. At each other like masters. Nairo got the win with a bair in the end. Was great congratulations to Nairo. And Zero might take a break. He deserves it wish him well.

I tuned in just in time to watch Grand Finals. Was pretty awesome to finally see someone take down Zero--hopefully the competition will keep improving!

Sure looks like it. I hope they do have a rematch one day! Nairo's Dr. Mario and Shiek are beasts.

Re: General Discussion 5

Busy most likely, Stormy's got motherhood and a job to probably worry about, and Droid never met him but he's probably busy too. Hopefully they find time and to come back, and Spyrochat comes back up.

Re: General Discussion 5

I noticed Spyrochat was down as well. As for Stomy and Droid, they're pretty busy with life. The baby is at an age where he requires a lot of attention and care. They came by last weekend and are doing well. smile

Re: General Discussion 5

I know why i think FF7 is good... I have a feeling the remake will just be an over melodramatic mess though..

But its purely the psychological impact in general. It more or less can really crush a person and feel empty on the inside because of the impact it does to their lives. Like politics or religion can do on people here on earth for example.

Although in the game you more or less start as an environmental terrorist group organization. But its moment like this that is so tragical in real terms. Since this more or less works in real life situations. Not over done.. It just is.
